It’s my first time having my hair colored at the salon. Hoang recommended a balayage which turn out amazing. I really love my new hair. I have not have my hair done professionally for a long time since it is very hard to find a good stylist. Hoang was funny and made me feel comfortable the whole time. He really knowledgeable and know exactly what he is doing. Would highly recommend him!!! Great job! Thank you so much!

Tram Ahn is a meticulous stylist. She always does a remarkable job with my hair and I recommend her to anyone.

I have heard of this place but didn’t really find it because another salon is near the location on Unilocal.
Anyway, finally came in, I just wanted a relayer and cut. I did a walk in and Danny helped me out. He suggested that I touch up some dye since mine was pretty old (I just didn’t realize it because it was a natural color). I ended up getting a very very natural balayage and I LOVE IT! I was a bit nervous since I haven’t gotten a balayage before and the last time I got my hair dyed professionally, I did not like how it turned out.
My balayage has hints of light brown in it (im asian do my natural color is very dark brown). He curled it for me too! I really felt like he spent a lot of time on my hair, it made me feel like he really cared. The only wishy washy thing was when I paid with my card, the lady did not tell me my total. It was partly my fault as well since I was too concerned with tip I forgot to ask for a receipt. So I’ll just have to check my bank account tomorrow.
Overall though I had a great experience!

Had my hair cut and colored by Toan! He is the best. Fit me in same day. I brought pictures of what I wanted and he did it exactly as the picture. I have not found another hairstylist who can cut my hair as awesome as he does!

So I made an appointment with Toan and he did a little consultation with my hair before we got started. It was a busy Monday, as I came in for a color and cut. To begin with, I thought the customer service was a little undivided because they did not check on me much as my hair dye was sitting on my hair for about 45 minutes, burning too. I was getting a little impatient because Toan who I was stylist hardly acknowledged me even when he was busy. I’ve always been coming here for several years with different stylists at Milan, but today was the first time I did not enjoy my time here. Other than that, they did a good job with my hair coloring and cut. But the customer acknowledgement was off. Especially during downtime there was a stylist cutting her nails in front me as her nails were flying everywhere. Pretty disgusting and rude I must say.

I was unsatisfied with my first digital perm, which was done by a Korean hairstylist, so I came here to get it fixed by Hoang. His professionalism showed through his patient and tentative to my request, even thought I came without an appointment and on a very busy day. He really knew what he was doing on top of being friendly and funny. I am totally happy with my new hair style and pleased with the price. Why come to Korean hair salons when you can get a better quality for a much better price with Hoang?

Recommened hoang for ombré .his skill is perfect and the way he talk will make u feel very comfortable. all my friend came to him for ombré and highlight and we all leaving with a happy face

I finally found a hair salon!!! Tony was my hairstylist and he did a great job on my hair and gave me great hair tips. All the staff here are friendly and nice. I’ll be coming back here for my next haircut =)

Never been happier with a haircut in my life. Toan worked magic on my scrappy, split-​end-​ridden hair and gave me long, perfect layers. Showed him a picture of Kendall Jenner lol and he did an amazing job. Toan was very careful with my hair and was a delight to talk to– and I’m not usually one for small talk. Shampoo with light massage action (oh yeaaahh) was done before my cut by a very sweet lady whose name I didnt get. Overall, I got shampoo, cut, great blow dry, and style all for an unbeatable $ 25 not including tip. Definitely coming back!

Got my highlights (full highlights and full color) done by Hoang and I love it! My highlights are ashy toned (as requested) and the color was perfect. This is the first time I’ve been happy with my color in a longgg time. It’s really hard to find colorists that I like since my natural hair color has a tendency to turn orange-​red toned. I really liked Hoang, great service and my hair was in super great condition. I get my hair cut by Tony, he’s really good, too. Definitely would recommend to any Asian girl, they’re really good with Asian hair types.

I come here about every 6 months for a trim or sometimes a medium cut. Conveniently located in a known plaza and near my dad’s place this salon is my usual spot to go to. Toan is usually booked with appointments so it’s always best to make appointments with him and find a day he’s working at Milan. He is quick and knows what he’s doing. Because this place is priced so cheap and haircut for women is only $ 25 (with wash, cut, blowdry & style) I always end up tipping $ 10 for service. If Toan is not around, you can always go to Phuong he’s also good too! I’ve had my haircut by him twice and he as well doesn’t dissapoint. But Toan is my guy so I have to go to him!

Made an appt the same day with Toan; he was great. I showed him a picture of the cut I wanted and he cut my hair to perfection.
I have no complaints.

I was referred here by one of my girl friends and do not regret it! Toan seemed a bit more quiet than other hair stylists I’ve met. I did try to make some small talks but he didn’t seem to be the chatty type and was more focused on cutting the hair. That is fine as long as the hair result turns out good. And it did! I asked him to trim off the dead ends and re-​shape my hair from a blunt horizontal to a V-​shape with extra layers. He did it exactly how I imagined it to be, and I love how it looks! My hair now feels so much lighter, more stylish, and overall fantastic. I would definitely come back for a trim!

I’m a regular here and every time I come, I am never disappointed. They always treat me with great care and make sure I am always content with my hair color.
My personal stylist is Toan and he never fails to disappoint. I always get my hair trimmed by him and even though I am a picky person, he always makes it good and I am always happy.

I never posted any reviews here on Unilocal,but I wanted to post a review on my experienced at Milan Hair Salon yesterday.
The last time I’ve went to a salon I think I was still in High School for prom or something. I was always hesitant to have anyone touch my hair because of a really bad experienced I had w a bad perm job back in the day, but that changed yesterday. I’ve been wanting change my hair style and color for a while now checked out a lot of places on Unilocal for weeks and weeks and I’ve called and inquired at a lot of places too. I came across Milan Hair Salon on Unilocal and saw that they’ve done similar thing to what I wanted on my hair which is the red & black ombré look. Also read the reviews and saw many happy customers. There were 3 places I went to before I decided to come to Milan Hair Salon, the other 3 wasn’t as clean, and the stylist didn’t look happy to help you, nor have different stylist in the salon. WhenI finally went to Milan Hair Salon the atmosphere was completely different. The place actually looked like a Salon and not a nail or facial place.
I walked in and immediately saw stylist interacting w their customers, place was clean, bright and doesn’t look dingy like the others. I was greeted by this woman in the front and was asked how she can help me. I told her I wanted to get a color and style. I also told her I just wanted to know 2 things, how long its going to take and how much? She looked at my hair, touched it and said $ 95 since my hair is not that long. She then proceeded to tell me it should take 2 hours. I said ok and she then introduced me to «Denny» who was Amazing! Super professional and I could tell he knew what he was doing from the start w how he handle my hair and throughout the whole process he walked me through it and gave me advice on how to take care of my hair and the outcome I will be expecting. I felt so at ease with Denny and was not at all scared of the end result. He asked me how long I wanted to get it cut and I told him whatever he thinks looks good, and he worked his magic w the scissors. The man is amazing even when towards the end and he saw some colors out of place he didn’t hesitate to change it. He never left me unattended for a long time even when he was tending to another customer who was there before me w her hair coloring too, he checked on me constantly and made sure I was ok. He was very nice, professional and experienced with what he does. Kudos on him!
I am so grateful to have found this place! I am one happy customer and will continue to come back here for any hair style, color or just simple cut! And what a steal $ 95 plus tip?

This was the second time I have been to Milan and I have had Toan and ONLY Toan. I made an appointment at 12pm and was seated on time for a wash and cut! If you decide to come here, I would put all my trust in him! His scheduling is on point and he’s honestly the absolute best when it comes to hair — even with the simplest proposal.
I asked for the same style like before, a middle part with long layers, removing all of my dead ends, a V shape cut and, if possible, to keep the length. I knew I had a lot of dead ends and was willing to cut up to 2 – 2.5 inches if it was needed, but by the end, my hair looked super silky with no dead ends at all and my hair still was long like I hope it could be! It’s hard to find a hair stylist where they can meet all my requests and make me feel safe throughout the whole process.
I love it here because of Toan, never tried anybody else at Milan but since Toan’s so great I think I found my go to guy! Thanks Toan :) I will be back when I need to be!
