History

Established in 2010.

OC Ultimate Wellness Center has been assisting people in the Orange County and Los Angeles County area since 2010. The lead doctor, Dr. Ramirez, is a second generation Chiropractor and is active in the surrounding communities. OCUWC strives in providing individuals the tools to promote and live healthier lifestyles.

Dr. Ramirez is a second generation Chiropractor who was born and raised in Orange County, California. Dr. Ramirez joined the United States Navy in 1998 where he served a four-​year term. He was stationed in Norfolk, VA on the USS Mitscher (DDG-​57). Dr. Ramirez enjoyed traveling the world and meeting different people at a young age. He followed up his service in the military with his medical certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). Dr. Ramirez took the core values of the military and inspired people to better themselves both physically and emotionally. He attended Southern California University of Health Sciences where he received his Doctorate of Chiropractic.

Wow, this place keeps it all under one roof! My partner and I are already feeling the benefits of having each doctor talking to each other. This is truly holistic wellness. The chiropractors are the most knowledgable I’ve met and they ensure you understand before they move on with the treatment plan. I’ve never felt comfortable telling my doctor my goal was to not need to see them anymore, but this place has that same goal in mind.

I’ve come here twice a week for the last two and half months and I’ve been very happy with my massages, chiropractor, and acupuncture. I feel relaxed and happy with the care I’ve received for my treatments. The front office is always extra nice and always understanding when I’m running late due to the kids. There are so many different wellness options available that I know I would leave feeling a lot less stressed. Dr. Randy has been a great help to my overall health and I always looked forward to his visits.

I love OC Ultimate Wellness Center! Dr. Randy is my chiropractor, and Leticia is my massage therapist. They have both helped me so much with the pain and tightness in my back and shoulders. Not only are they both good at their jobs, they are also extremely welcoming and friendly. I want to be in great physical shape, and as I haven’t exercised or taken very good care of my body for about 6 years, I thought I had better check out the overall condition of my skeletal system. So, on a recommendation from a friend, I made an appointment with Dr. Randy Ramirez for an evaluation. I found Dr. Ramirez’s staff to be warm, cheerful and courteous, and they even greeted me by name when I checked-​in, which made me feel very welcomed. My appointment started right on time, and both the doctor’s assistant and Dr. Ramirez were attentive and considerate, so they noticed when I had a question and paused to answer. Dr. Ramirez examined me visually and also by palpating before taking X-rays.The entire examination was an educational experience that I really enjoyed; it also inspired confidence. At my next appointment, Dr. Ramirez reviewed the X-​ray results with me, engaging me in understanding how my body was adapting and changing and being a realist about lifestyles and choices. I like that Dr. Ramirez was not judgmental or a Chicken Little, but a doctor who desires to guide healthy living and help and encourage. After I decided to start the treatment program with Dr. Ramirez, he took it upon himself to give me the first prescribed adjustment followed by a warm back massage. I felt that Dr. Ramirez had an excellent sense of how much pressure to apply during my adjustments. I was very relaxed and comfortable afterwards. I am glad that my friend referred me to Dr. Ramirez. Dr. Ramirez is excellent!

Dr Randy is the best there is. He’s gentle but really gets the job done. I completely trust my entire family to his hands. We have four kids, ages 5 to 11 and bring the whole family. He’s very patient with the kids, and everyone leaves with a good adjustment. He also helped nurse me thru a nasty double Achilles injury, and is willing to take a couple extra minutes to make sure I have a good adjustment.

In November of 2013, I was experiencing a lot of lower back pain from trauma playing football. The pain didn’t allow me to function and do day to day tasks such as putting on my socks and shoes. In addition to that, I had difficulty demonstrating movements and teaching being a CrossFit gym owner and coach.
I saw Randy twice a week for the first few weeks and once a week after seeing and feeling progress. Now I am going only once every other week for maintenance and I am feeling great. All of my strength is completely back and I have no reservations at all when lifting heavy.

The Staff here is awesome. Dr. Randy was able to identify the root of my lower back pain and prescribed a plan of attack to get it better. Everyone there is very professional and work together to ensure a positive experience. Great team they have going on.

I have been going to Dr. Randy Ramirez since his office opened. He has helped so much in relieving headaches and back pain. The best thing is the variety of treatment options that are available at OC Wellness. He uses Active Release Techniques and has many different machines in his office that help relieve pain and improve health. I was also introduced to Acupuncture and it has made a huge impact on my treatments. I know every time that I go for an adjustment I am getting the treatment that is specific to me and my needs at the time. I was so happy with how I was feeling that I started bringing my son to see Dr. Randy as well. Now, if I get treatment and don’t take him I get in big trouble.
I would highly recommend Dr. Randy and OC Ultimate Wellness Center. You will always have a great experience from a helpful staff and knowledgeable, caring professionals.

On October 2, 2011 I completed my first sprint Triathlon. I could not have done this without the help of Dr. Randy Ramirez and his staff at the OC Ultimate Wellness Center. After three months of training I encountered an unexpected obstacle. Five days before the race I awoke in the morning to find I had aggravated nerves in my upper back. Not only was I experiencing intense pain but I had very limited range of motion. I tried a number of remedies before calling Dr. Ramirez’s two days before race day. The staff at Optimized Living Wellness got a hold of Dr. Ramirez, who was not in the office at the time, and he was able to schedule me a session with a massage therapist the very next day. I was able to compete the day after my massage therapy and had an excellent performance.
Since the race I have had four sessions of chiropractic care with Dr. Ramirez. The office is very comfortable and the staff is friendly and accommodating. I received not only chiropractic adjustments but also range of motion therapy along with personalized stretching and strengthening exercises. Working with Dr. Ramirez has been an excellent experience. He is passionate about his practise and I would strongly recommend to anyone seeking relief from back pain.

Ok this place is legit. I’ve always been on the fence about people messing with my body and muscles– but I came here because a recommendation from a friend and I had a great experience. (I had a sports injury, and only had to come once… Also, He sent me home with exercises to do, and it worked) Randy is very knowledgeable, and professional. I highly recommend from my own personal experience.
