Best bowl of chicken phở I’ve had in ages, and I am a phở whore. Not 50% off like the other places but hey, this place has free range chicken. Quality ingredients really do make a difference! The first spoonful of broth I had I almost giggled in giddiness. Made me feel like a kid again it was so good. No complaints here, can even order in English and there’s no communication problem. Best. Chicken phở. Ever.

My wife, my parents, and I met my wife’s aunt and cousins here. Wow, we were amazed at the quality phở which I haven’t tasted since our wedding in OKC. Well, the price is just right and the portions are huge. My mom was very satisfied and she has high expectations. We even loved the fried eggrolls too. I had a grass jelly drink which was really good and my dad had red bean drink. Next time, we will be sure to come back to this place again when visiting LA.

THEGOOD: — LARGE portions(small, medium, and large sizes) — reasonably priced — EXTENSIVE menu including phở, rice dishes, and family style entrees — quick service — open late — lots of tables — free red bean dessert Why I am not head over heels in love then? The flavors are OK. The phở broth is mediocre at best, and I tasted my brother’s pork chop dish which was very bland and not well seasoned at all. I would eat here again only if I was with a group and majority rules. But with all the phở options in the area, there are more desirable places.

I heard this place was good from my best friend and decided to go eat there with him. This place is across from the Asian Garden Mall and next to Seafood Cove. When we got there, the place was fairly empty, but it was probably not peak hour. My friend ordered the the big one(xe lua) and I got the small one. They give a decent amount of meat and noodle for the small. I was enjoying the phở, then I noticed that there was hair in it. I lost my appetite and didn’t want to eat anymore. My friend only finished half of his large phở and also lost his appetite. We didn’t want to make a big deal out of it, so we just paid and left. Other than the hair in the phở, I found that the phở is pretty good. The broth is flavor and the price is worth the amount of food they give.

I pride myself on having tried most of the phở places in Orange County, because I think phở is a phở-nomenonal dish. I had high expectations for Phở Quang Trung, and sadly, the restaurant did not live up to the hype. For three, we ordered an appetizer and a bowl of phở each. I ordered the fillet mignon phở and found it a bit tough and chewy. Definitely not the best I’ve had. My friend ordered chicken phở – she explained to me that one benefit of Phở Quang Trung is that they use organic chicken and offer you a choice on the type of chicken meat you prefer(she chose breast). Portions are generous, almost excessive. We ordered the egg rolls as an appetizer. They were huge and came with lettuce and dipping sauce. Unfortunately, they were very greasy and therefore unappetizing. Service was good and the restaurant stays open late. Given the other options for phở in the O.C., I don’t think I’ll be coming back to Phở Quang Trung.

First off, is anyone going to talk about the HUGE portions here?! Pros: Large for $ 7.05 and it is really big! My boyfriend was satisfied and full and he is a big eater. A medium will work for the average stomach. The broth was flavorful and came out piping hot. Lastly, the establishment was clean. Cons: Asian service which means it’s nonexistent. You get your food, water, and that’s it. They can be borderline rude, take no offense. It is how it is. Also, because the soup is super hot and there’s so much noodles, it can get soggy quick. Put down those cellphones and dig in. Don’t breathe, inhale noodle instead. I will be coming again. As for my food credentials, I’ve been eating phở for over 23 years and I’ve tried over 3 dozen phở shops. Lol… This is a solid place. Fun fact: my boyfriend’s dad used to own the shop here but moved to NorCal with his company and sold it.

Phở Quang Trung is delicious! The customer service is average, not the best to be honest, but hey, it’s a Vietnamese restaurant so I don’t expect much! I think I’ve been here 3 times my whole life. But, out of the three times: 1) The Phở Dac Biet was pretty good. It was flavorful, and although it’s more expensive than the 50% off Phở around the area, it’s definitely worth it. The meat is good, but the charge extra if you want the rare beef separate. 2) Bun Bo Hue: I thought it was yummy for a Phở restaurant! It wasn’t spicy at all(wish it was a bit more), but the portions were nice. The broth was flavorful, noodles were cooked well, and overall I enjoyed it. 3) Banh Bot Chien: The first two times I got it were DELICIOUS. I swear, I thought it was the BEST banh bot chien I ever had. The third time I got it, it was okay. The batter was definitely different than what I had previously. but it happens. I’ll try it again the next time I come back! 4) Eggrolls: It came with lettuce and bun(white rice noodles also known as vermicelli). You wrap the eggroll in the letuce, add some daikon, carrot, and vermicelli, dip it in the sauce, and there you have it. It can be a meal in itself! It was definitely tasty. The egg roll wrapping paper was unique, but I enjoyed it. It was very thick and crunchy as well as flavorful. I recommend! They take certain cards!

Only place that was open late night so I decided to stop by to have a bite to eat. Food– I ordered the phở and spring rolls, both of which were pretty good except for the layer of fat in the spring rolls. The reason they’re do addictive is because of this! Service — decent service but the dessert accidentally came out before we even got our meal Only perk: Free complimentary dessert!

If you want phở in Westminster this is the place you have to go. Usually I would go to phở 79 but wait was long. This is located in the large plaza, so trying to find parking is tough. Upon ordering the phở, it came within five minutes– really darn fast for lunch time. Phở had a lot of content and was absolutely perfect for $ 7 medium bowl. I enjoyed every bite. Also got a red bean dessert afterwards. I am satisfied!

The phở here is good, definitely recommend going to this place if you want a huge serving of phở. There extra large size is HUGE, and it will definitely fill you up. Service here was good, and the waiters were attentive. We ordered deep fried sweet potatoes and shrimp, and we didn’t really like it. It wasn’t crispy enough and a little too oily. Their Thai ice tea and avocado smoothie were really good though. Recommend if you are really hungry and want a lot of phở for around $ 7. Phở tasted average, nothing special, just your basic phở shop

HUGE menu.. A little overwhelming perhaps! I absolutely appreciate having choices to choose from, but gosh, it makes it a tad more difficult for somebody as indecisive as i am when im starving! Boyfriend and i came here because it was quick, convenient, and offered the things we were craving for. I ordered the bun bo hue while he ordered a rice place with his choice of meat. They were a little skimpy on the meat on his dish. For mine, i had more broth than anything else. The flavor was there, however(thank goodness!). Not the greatest of them all, but it sure will do when you are hungry late at night and want many options.

If you’re looking for Phở in OC, there are a ton of places to go, but Phở Quang Trung is the only place I go when I’m in the mood for a jumbo bowl of goodness. I mean, come on, $ 7 for a Large(and I’m talking fish bowl size) bowl of Phở stuffed with 3 generous portions of 3 — 5 different meats(depending on which ones you want) plus plenty of very good amount of noodles of perfect consistency?!? That’s unheard of! I have not ordered anything else on the menu outside of the phở so I cannot attest to their other dishes, but why bother — Phở is the way to go! There is never a wait there and I have been during peak dinner times. Plenty of seating in their large restaurant. Parking could be tough, but if you park in the lot across the way and walk a little, you should be fine. Service is lame, but who cares — bring me my phở and leave me alone!

Unlike the Pham Cha Gio at Golden Deli which has a thin, delicate rice paper skin that when it fries up, becomes crispy, crunchy shards of utter delight & the Cha Gio filling is full of «glass noodles», ground seasoned pork, carrots, possibly cabbage and is full of garlic, black pepper, and the pork has the meaty funk that adds Umami, the Cha Gio at Phở Quang Trung reminds me more of the ‘Imperial Rolls” found at Cordon Bleu in San Francisco. This Imperial Roll is packed w/thin glass noodles, dense, rough ground, spiced pork, carrots, onions & garlic. The fried skin is thicker, tougher, more rustic in feel, & breaking open of the roll releases a garlicly, black peppery, Nuoc Mam/fish sauce infused spiced aroma that, to me, is equivalent to ambrosia of the Gods. 1) The Cha Gio at Phở Quang Trung which has those similar qualities just described, gives the Pham Cha Gio at Golden Deli a run for its money and may be Orange County’s most definitive execution of this omnipresent fried«egg roll». Even Brodard can not outrank Phở Quang Trung for a totally satisfying, generous, ultra porky, hardy fried roll of rather epic ginormousness.(Thanks Hung, née Gardena High School, for that neologism.) I opted for the Bun/capelli d’angeli thin rice pasta & a whole slew of green lettuce, Vietnamese Green & Purple-green ‘Shiso’ leaves which adds a sharp yet mellow basil, tarragon-like scent to act as a counter to the meaty pork. The dipping Nuoc Cham/sweetened fish sauce adds another dimension of a more salty fish meaty Umami, & the addition of the crushed chile pepper sauce & Sriracha adds more of a acidic gastrique as well as garlic undertones to add earthiness. 2) The Goi Cuon is another awesome iteration of the ubiquitous«Spring roll» where the rice paper is moistened but not fried. The rice paper is thin to the point of being translucent exposing pinkish red cooked shrimp, pale beige of ultra thin, moist slices of Heo/pork meat that seem boiled. The shrimp is slightly sweet ocean kissed while the pork is soft, fleshy, subtley spice scented… kind of a «surf & turf» combo. The inclusion of chopped lettuce greens, long green onion leaf, bit of the Vietnamese fresh herbs leaves a refreshing, slightly leafy crispiness. The accompanying thickened hoisin/fermented soybean Miso & Nuoc Mam/fish sauce had crushed roasted peanut garnish on top to add more texture & nuttiness to the rather earthy, smooth, sweet sauce. I added more of the crushed chile pepper sauce & Sriracha for the same reason above. It is another exemplary fresh roll that goes down easily especially if one wants to restrict oil-fat intake. 1−2a) I could have had Vietnamese beer, but instead, I got Vietnamese ice tea which seems to be a more concentrated green jasmine tea. It had rich white floral scents & a more bitter-astringency from the tea tannins. This cold tea may have worked better w/the Goi Cuon since this refreshing roll is more delicate in flavor w/a sweeter hoisin based sauce that would have harmonized better w/the green herbal sharpness of the tea. The Cha Gio being more heavy, meaty, oily would have been better w/a beer which has refreshing, acidic carbon dioxide bubbles & bitter hops. Fast, efficient w/minimum of talk, but none-the-less accommodating service. Although I have not tried the Phở, Quang Trung has addictive rolls, fried or fresh that are hard to find even in Little Saigon. 4+ Unilocal stars. PS For the cash challenged: minimum credit card order is $ 10.

On one hand, their giant fried egg rolls are freaking delicious. On the other, they can really really put you to sleep. The bun thit nuong was pretty good but the beef phở was more on the okay side. A large portion can easily be shared by two normal people, or eaten alone by one super fat person. I do have to say the service was awful. But like, in your typical«authentic» Vietnamese restaurant in Westminster type of way. All to-go containers are on an accessible table and bill is paid up front, so servers don’t feel the need to check in with you at all. Unless of course, you purposely wave them down like a crazy person(which I can be).

5 dishes for $ 43 plus tax. Not bad. Parking is a bit difficult. Its in the same lot as Seafood Palace across the street from the mall. 1. Oxtail phở– only meat, no bone. Tender and a little dry at same time. Folks liked it. 2. Seafood w rice noodles and vegetables-nothing special but everything was fresh and it was good if u like a combo of noodles, seafood and a vafiety of veggies. 3. Bbq bork Bun– good. No complaints. Pork was good. 4. Beef phở-ok. 5. Vietnamese omelette-this should be split w 4 – 5 people. thick w onion, meat and egg inside.

Solid Vietnamese food – they have everything Vietnamese that you could ever want. Fast service. Parking in the plaza can be difficult if you come during a busy time. I had the BUNBOHUE – it was delicious! The soup was very flavorful, and the variety of meat was remarkable. An odd thing to recommend, but I couldn’t stop drinking the THAIICEDTEA. Maybe I was really thirsty. But I also think they make it from scratch/tea leaves(rather than pouring an already prepared concoction from a bottle like most restaurants).

Excellent service, excellent food for an excellent price. I have nothing negative to say about this place. A friend of mine who lives in Westminster recommended this place when I asked her for the best Vietnamese food in the area and I’d now have to totally agree with her. My wife constantly begs for me to take her back here, the beef phở is that good. The servers are super friendly and even provide complimentary bowls of red beans! The only thing to keep in mind is that like a lot of places, they only accept cards if the total is $ 10 or more. The phở at large and XL size is perfect to share with a date and will leave both of you filled. If you’re still hungry after the large portions served here, I recommend hitting up Snow Monster or Zero Degrees down the street.

This phở place is one of many many many phở restaurants in Little Saigon. My friends from out of town were visiting and were craving phở so they picked this place. Parking in this plaza can be tough since they share the lot with so many other stores. We arrived around 1:30PM on a Monday and got a table for seven. Service was excellent and they kept checking up on us since we took a long time to order and settle in. I just got the small bowl of phở tai chin and I liked that with each bowl of phở, or bun bo hue, or whatever, it comes with a separate plate of veggies so you don’t have to share with anyone. I love my veggies so I ended up using most of the plate. However, my other friends don’t eat that much so I can see this system may be a bit wasteful. Another cool thing about this place was they had free desserts at the end of the meal. The guy brought out a bowl of ice mung bean dessert that was very yummy! I was already so full but I couldn’t resist since it was so yummy. FYI: there’s two locations so if you’re meeting up with people, make sure you specify which location. This one is the one on Bolsa vs the other one is on Westminster.

Damnit, Phở Quang Trung! I’ve been living a lie, thinking that I possess a decent understanding of phở and can differentiate between good phở joints and those that are less than stellar. I was content. But one bowl of phở ga here shattered that notion and sent me on a downward spiral. I’m back home in the Bay Area for spring break right now and just tried one of my usual phở spots… and left disappointed. The phở ga at PQT comes with the choice of breast or thigh meat, thin or thick rice noodles, and various additional ingredients(heart, gizzards, liver, intestines, blood cake, etc.). I opted for thigh meat, thin noodles, and heart/liver. Meat from the thigh is more flavorful but may have more bones. If you want leaner/meatier chicken, go with breast. The broth was complex and beautiful. They definitely didn’t skimp on the chicken pieces either. I loved the dipping sauce that they provided(think it had chilies, sugar, fish sauce, and a few other things). The chicken thigh pieces were juicy and the other pieces of chicken didn’t have an organy taste. It was quite good. The meal itself also came with a sweet black bean dessert which I thought was just alright but they get bonus points because I wasn’t expecting dessert. Lol As for service, the food arrived rather quickly, even on a busy afternoon! There are some cleanliness issues but if you love great phở and are willing to overlook some things, then stop by! Just be sure to wipe all utensils and cups before you use them.
