In November I returned to Robert August Surfboards in Westminster and bought a new R.A. WIR center fin, 9.5in. by Futures. This new fiberglass fin is lighter weight and has cool retro R.A. graphics on each side. It’s going on my Robert August 9ft 2in WIR board. I had another super pleasant conversation & experience purchasing the fin from Lisa. I really DO NOT know what the guy’s problem/​story is that only rated this wonderful business one star. Totally uncalled for in my opinion! ***** Surf On!

Be very cautious if you choose to do business with them. A good friend of mine located what was pro ported to be a 1970 Robert August Board. He turned to the company for assistance in authenticating the board. They were happy to take the information to «help him», what they did was to use what they were told to run out and buy the board from under him. Lisa Carden, Robert’s niece is the one who did this and given the chance to make it write would not.
Please keep this in mind when deciding to do business with them
