Attended a family wedding reception here last week. The place looks great, but since they’re shutting down, the food doesn’t seem as good as it should be. Had great bartenders, but the bar was out of most essentials for drinks. As for food: appetizers were pretty good – bo luc lac was amazing! Dinner was super awkward in the serving though. There was mang soup first, which was fine/good, but then 6 different items for dinner, which were brought out one at a time instead of all together because it was obviously family style. Don’t order seafood because it’s either not fresh or frozen. Lobster tails were disgusting and soft, same for shrimp with no discernable texture.

My husband and I ordered the curry basil scallops, Halibut Ceviche, and yellow noodles. My favorite was the Halibut Ceviche! I like this place. It was our first visit and I was impressed by the freshness of the Halibut. The service was good. It was early lunch with only two tables occupied when I arrived so I could hear the loud conversation in Vietnamese in the kitchen. Not professional in my opinion, but other than that it is rather a nice experience. It was a good place for a date with my husband.

Luckily I got to go back again before it closes next week… the owner is a true class act she came over to the table and thanked us for our patronage over the years and she was very sweet and kind… the food is still great(they are really putting in the effort to make it good until the very end) best wishes to the owner, her family and all the great staff!!!

My gal pal dinner group selected this restaurant for this week’s get together. All our dishes were terrific. It was my first time trying Shaken beef, the dipping sauce enhanced the flavors. I would recommend it! My dining companions selected either duck, salmon, short rib and the steak/shrimp combo. All were excellent! I will definitely go back again. Very attentive but non obtrusive service.

Everything we had was awesome! The flavors were amazing. The Shaken beef was awesome! Also the deep fried spring rolls. The shells were so delicate and served with Thai basil and lettuce to wrap it with: excellent! Strongly recommend eating here!

3 stars for service and ambience but the food is ok. If this place was in Missouri somewhere I would give it more stars. It’s tough to try and be a fancy Vietnamese restaurant when you’re right in the heart of it and charge so much money for it. It’s really designed for foreigners who really don’t know better. Had lunch for a family of 6 and it cost almost $ 300. This same meal, and much better quality, at any restaurant in little Saigon would only be about $ 100 with drinks. You’re paying for the service and décor. Had to give it a try or wouldn’t know.

My favorite Vietnamese restaurant! I always come here when I crave Asian food. It’s so much closer than driving out to bolsa where it’s all dirty with horrible Asian service! Other crappy Vietnamese restaurants give bad service and they always just drop off the food and disappear forever. I love all the servers here because I always get good customer service and I enjoy the food ten times more than any other restaurants! Everything on the menu is very descriptive and sounds so tasty, it makes me want to order everything off the menu. I come here weekly and I pretty much tired everything on the menu. I highly recommend egg rolls, shaken beef, curry fish, and Chilean sea bass with bean sauce. The food here is to die for! Talking about it makes me want to drool and makes me crave for it even more! Oh yeah, I forgot to mention they also have lunch specials on week days!

Worst experience I ever had! Do not go there! My husband and I walked in and there was one party of 12 and maybe 4 other tables in the whole restaurant and at least three servers I could see. We ordered the spring rolls and the chicken phở as well as the beef phở. We asked for chili sauce. Twenty minutes after our appetizer we still had no soup, no drink refills and server was no where to be found. We finally got served our phở, and server never came back so we had to endure with no water and still no chilli, and the soup was flavorless. However worse than that was that my husband had a bowl ful of meat and noodles while I had to search for chicken and was mostly broth. The waitress finally came and we told her we were thirsty and never got chilli sauce and soup was lacking any meat. I had eaten almost half of nothing,(whatever that means) and waitress took the soup and said she would be back. She came back ten minutes later and told me the kitchen was making it again but that it would be exactly the same as the first soup and that that was the portion. I promptly told her to forget it and just to bring the bill, as I was shocked that she would come and tell a disappointed customer that I was just going to get the same item again exactly how it was served the first time while looking at my husbands abundant bowl. She brought the check and had the nerve to charge me for the phở that she removed half from before I finished! It took me twenty minutes to see anyone on the floor again to even get a manager. I see the waitress and ask her for a manager and told her that I couldn’t believe she charged me for a soup that I didn’t even get to finish, she proceeded to argue with me and tell me three times, «But you ate half.» As I told her she charged me for a whole soup I didn’t get to eat after I was completely disappointed with the meal. She went to look for a manager and came back and said her OWNER, not the manager was there but refused to speak to me. Kept blaming a twelve top for the service for the entire restaurant and finally removed my soup. I am still appalled that the owner refused to address me, and how poorly the restaurant food, service, and customer relationships were treated and sincerely hope this review will affect their business because there was absolutely no reason to be treated the way I was, over a bowl of soup! ANDDID I MENTION I AM8 months pregnant and they still treated me this way!

We had our wedding here and it turned out great. We got lots of compliments on the food. It’s family style vietnamese fusion. The venue is on the smaller size, max capacity around 200 which was perfect for us. We had to have some tables in the patio area but I didn’t hear our guests complain too much about view obstruction… The venue has a cozy modern upscale feel to it. There is a room next to the reception room where we held our wedding ceremony. The cake is catered by their sister bakery, Final Touch with no cake cutting fee. Stephanie, the owner, was a pleasure to work with. She was very informative and responsive via email. Unfortunately, she has other plans for the future and isn’t accepting anymore wedding receptions =(

Came here for my brother’s wedding. Very nice venue and great food. There was a 7 course meal with my brother’s package. Very nice«fusion» Vietnamese food. My favorite was the scallop with coconut curry sauce — unusual but tasty combo.

Plenty parking at the Westminster mall. We were the only customers there for early dinner. 1st time here. Service: Great! Our waiter was very attentive and friendly. Ambiance: Beautiful warm upscale décor. I was imagining how fun it would be to turn the space into a ballroom. I’m sure this would be a lovely wedding reception space as many others have noted. Food: This is what is tricky. The food was good, but not spectacular at the prices we paid. Some items were not items that you’d typically find at a regular Vietnamese restaurant. Small in quantity. We ordered 2 recommendations by our waiter. 1. Appetizer Sampler– Of the 7 different things on our plate, I would say only 2 of them really stood out. The sauce and the crispiness of the chicken drumettes made them tasty. The egg rolls were very cripsy, but the dough was much thinner than most. The skewers were good, nothing special. I’ve had plenty of good spring rolls in the past at local Vietnamese restaurants in Westminster. I didn’t really like the vegetable garnish that came with the shrimp. 2. Chilean Sea Bass with Spicy coconut sauce– I loved the texture of the fish and the sauce was good. This was fine dining in service and ambiance, but the food just didn’t seem as «fine» dining as I had hoped it would be.

I ate here for a friend’s wedding and the food was so delicious. The squash/beef soup was so good, I could just eat a big bowl of that for dinner any day. The sea bass and duck were some other favorites. It’s a nice event space, although the stage for the actual ceremony was teeny tiny.

My friend had her wedding here a couple of years ago and I was so impressed, I knew I wanted to have mine here as well. It was one of the best decisions I’ve made. I had to plan my wedding from out of state so I loved that it was like a one stop shop. The restaurant is very intimate, cozy, and very classy. I didn’t need to add additional decorations. The food is amazing. I can’t tell you how many compliments we got on the food and the ambiance. I love that it’s not the typical multiple course menu. It’s modern, unique, and delicious. Our guests of all ages raved about the food. We had several vegetarians that were also very pleased with their vegetarian meals. The cake(mocha and mixed berry) was perfect — beautiful, moist, not too sweet. The service is impeccable. I can’t tell you how grateful I am for Stephanie’s help and coordination. She is meticulous, professional, she’s got great taste, and she’s genuinely helpful. We are so pleased and happy we chose S-Fine Dining. We would recommend it to all our friends and family. The food is great so even if you want to have a romantic brunch or dinner, I would recommend it.

An affordable and classy Vietnamese restaurant with a fine dining experience. Chef Stephanie, along with her own recipes, she took traditional Vietnamese comfort food dishes and elevated the quality and presentation. The peaceful serene ambiance reminds me of eating at 5-star resorts when I traveled around Asia. The service delightful and will impress you and your guests. We loved it so much that we had S Fine Dining cater our wedding. We received nothing but compliments about im how exceptional our dishes were compared to other Vietnamese caterers! Worth every penny.
