I went to get 2 little hearts tattooed on my finger to represent the 2 miscarriages I had. I had Phil as my tattooist. After letting them heal for 4 weeks I went for a touch up because they were really faded and some of the heart was missing. He touched it up and again the same thing happened. Now I’m paying to have them lasered off.

Had my nose pierced here it was really fast and easy! I just disliked how much I had to wait for one of them to look up and assist me. The piercer was really nice & professional.

Awesome experience here. I worked with Justin, and he was AMAZING. I went in on a Wednesday and talked about what I was looking to do, and he offered to draw something up and get me in later that day. I couldn’t come back that day, so just set up an appointment with him the following day. He sent me a sketch and encouraged me to voice and changes, concerns I had, but his first sketch was perfect so there was no need. His work is awesome, and his LINES are so clean! Super impressed with his skill! The price was completely fair and affordable, dare I say on the cheaper side… I do dare, because it was!
The shop in general has a great vibe, all the guys were super friendly and engaging. Will definitely be going back here for all my future tattoo-​ing needs!

A couple of months after getting y piercing my left one got infected ! Called Sick Dogs on Thursday ³⁄₁₉ and told the guy what was going on, he told me to come in asap and get longer bars for my nipples for the swelling and such. Came in on 3/​20, waited less than 5 minutes and a guy came and asked what he could help with, I told him and he took me back. I showed him both and he recommended getting a longer bar, I said ok. I told him I was scared haha and asked if it was going to hurt taking out the bar from the infected piercing, he said «not too much» and I actually didn’t even feel when he took it out ! I was so happy it wasn’t painful, buttt, when he did out the new bar I felt pressure and a sharp pain, but nothing too bad. Sooooooo happy that I’m keeping my piercings. Thank you so much Frank ! You’re awesome !!!

i been coming to sick dogs since i was 15 years old and the more i come back the worse this place gets not great work its okay depending on who you get… i came in a few days ago for a piece for my side … dude quote me a good price so i was gonna have him do it after his appointment showed up late he handed my art to a dude name justin after about 30 in of waiting justin looked high and walked up to me and asked if i was okay with him doing the tattoo i said yes. after he came back with a piece as small as my fist for a side piece i said no no bigger i was expecting him to raise the price a bit yes but for a black tattoo give me a break i saw him talking to other dude and heard him say he couldnt do it that fast. so the price went from 250 — 450 becus your guy justin is a slow ass stoner and thats my fault? give me a fucking break
since they seem to think their shit is the best they have terrible attitudes they will over charge you even if you are a loyal customer pretty sad. i would never go back to this shit hole again … so disappointed. frank seems to be getting more pissed off looking every time i seem him and frankly im not down for these cocky ass ppl when they have no reason to be so damn stuck up… and you know what else FRANK it wouldnt hurt you to say HI to your fucking customers dick im sure you seen me in there plenty you did my nips also way back when thanks for years wasting my time here was a toss up on the work only one dude did me good here fish dude he did my bunny right my daughter name wasnt so strong but never the less fuck this place for good

Went in today because i hear of their great deal on piercings. I walked in and the only people there were the artist, no one was working and i didn’t even know who worked there because they just seemed like they were hanging out. I told one of them that i was looking to get my nipples pierced and asked if i could see the jewelry before i decided. He never told me his name and seemed very unprofessional. The guy took me back to see the bars but seemed like he was high out of his mind. It made me very uneasy that he said he would do the piercing with whatever bar i wanted, even if it didn’t fit correctly with the swelling after they were done. I walked straight out cause it just seemed like he didn’t really know what he was talking about and did not make me comfortable at all.

I came here earlier this year to get a pair of personal piercings lol! Anyway the guy was totally awesome DID NOT MAKE ME FEEL UNCOMFORTABLE FOR A SECOND! Totally professional! I’d recommend anyone to come here for piercings plus the have a bogo deal here for piercings that you can get for yourself or you do one & you friend does one! Awesome place friendly guy.

The place is clean, I liked the small room I was pierced in. But me and 2 friends has to wait for the piercer got back from Petco while some other fat employee was siting on the couch, watching tv and eating chicken nuggets. I got my tongue pierced by Sal, he wasn’t the friendliest, didn’t give me proper care instructions. I watched a few YouTube videos on after care and asked what I should avoid, thinking he would give me a lost of good and drink items he said I could eat whatever I wanted. Even get wasted and that should help the pain –_​_​–

Love my flowers with rain drops by Phil! Phil is an artist! He’s funny and smart, too. I have a star on my toe, stars on my back and arm. I’m working on a full back piece. It looks great each session. The owner Frank is a great. My cousin and I got our nipples pierced and we got a deal.

Was looking to get my nipples pierced. I was driving to a different place with my cousin and sister when him. Cousins said I should go to Sick Dogs because all her friends go there and it seemed like a good place. So we called and asked for prices. They said it was $ 60 including the jewelry. I walk in, well they didn greet us. It was more of a ‘what are you doing here?’ But I’m not that picky. The place seemed clean. All white with some at too designs hanging and t-​shirts they sell. Frank got up and asked how he could help and I told him what I wanted. He checked mine and my sisters ID, my cousin couldn’t go see because she was a minor.
He was very professional and didn’t make me feel uncomfortable at all. He asked me to take off my blouse and bra, and to put my arms to my side. He marked it. Then I sat down and he told me to relax and he did it. The second one hurt the most (ahhhh) but he still tried making me feel better, saying I did good despite the fact that I squealed on the second one haha.
I didn’t realize this place was cash only and their ATM machine didn’t have cash. And since we talked and stuff, he said it was OK for me to go across the street to albertsons to get cash. Now I don’t know if he does this to just anyone but that was a plus for me.
Honestly I liked this place. Oh and at the end he ended up charging me $ 40. I’ll wait for it to heal and give you guys an update. So far I’m not disappointed.
UPDATE
So after waiting 4 months for my right nipple to heal, it never did. I got 2 lumps, one on each side of the piercing and it was hurting bad. I went to a different place and they said they thought the bar was small. So they changed it to one slightly bigger and right away, the lumps started getting better. Of course I had to use some neosporin to help it but still. The piercer told me my piercing looked crooked and she wasn’t sure why. It was either my body rejecting it and it migrated, or I got it pierced crooked. Idk what it was but maybe that’s why i only had to pay $ 40 instead of the $ 60. I now know what it’s like to go to a good piercer.. And my cousins friends have gone here to get pierced. Idk if it’s with parent consent or not because they’re minors.

I have no clue why so many people have this place a bad review. I walked in this morning and everyone was so friendly and making conversation, I wanted to get a medium size anchor on my foot. I had already checked out a few tattoo shops in the Westminster/​Huntington beach area sick dogs was the ONLY shop willing to tattoo me on the spot without asking for a deposit and scheduling an appointment weeks later! I was quoted a great price and the drawing was perfect. My tattoo artist was fish who was super conversational and made sure I was comfortable. I just found my new tattoo artist thanks to fish && sick dogs

Pretty cool and friendly people! Love all my piercings I have got here and you cant beat the price! I have got my snakebites, tragus, rook, and venoms pierced here.

I took two of my friends here to get their nose and navel pierced. They were very friendly and greeted us when we walked in and asked us what we wanted done. They then asked us if we all had ID’s, but they never checked. We went directly to the piercing section and my friends were seated and wiped down. We didn’t have any papers to sign or anything. Minors could easily get a piercing here. The whole procedure was very quick and clean, and was done by Frank. He made my friends feel very comfortable and cracked a few jokes to ease their nervousness. New needles and gloves were used, and the needles were also soaked in alcohol.
As for the pricing, it was decent. Not the cheapest, but what can you expect? It’s in the OC.
I’d give it ³⁄₅ only because I found it unprofessional that ID’s were not checked and papers were not provided.

Love my tattoo, super friendly people, awesome, will really go at your pace, they done try and rush you though at tat to get tge next person in the chair. Love them.

I have been here a couple times now the first time I got my earlobe pierced a little higher than my traditional ear piercings. Which was a pretty good experience, but then again that is really simple piercing.
However this last time I went in I got the cartilage of the top of my ear pierced. Here is where i had a problem. When he went to pierce it he pierced it through and then realized it wasn’t at the right angle so without letting me know before hand pierced it through again. That second time hurt more than any piercing i have gotten so far (and I have 2 cartilage on the other ear from a different place, also I’ve had a rejected naval piercing, also from another place, and a nose ring from another place) On the way home though as i was driving i had a shooting pain from my ear down my arm and my chest (which has never happened with any of my piercings). My Fiancé said it is probably from the shock of being pierce twice.
It just overall was not a very good experience.

Here is my little story…
After work, I went into my bathroom to clean my navel piercing and I saw that my belly ring was gone. ERMAHGERD. I was freaking out because I only got it pierced about 2 months ago and I didn’t want it to close. Since I came back home from work around 2 in the morning, I had to wait until the next day to go to a piercing place.
As soon as I woke up, I Unilocaled quiet a few places. I’m very impatient when it comes to things that I want. I was in desperate need to replace my belly ring and majority of the places opened at noon.
Solution: I called Sick Dogs Tattoo and was directed to a male employee who was very helpful.
The place is located BEHIND El Polo Loco so it is kinda hard to miss place.
I think the guy who helped me with my navel piercing name was Frank. He had a beard… Hahah. Correct me if I got his name wrong. He was very attentive and made me feel welcomed.
I left the place satisfied and happy. Thank you man with the beard! Or Frank! Hahah.

I have been wanting to get ink for a lil while now but quality is more important than impulse…
I live in Long Beach but went shopping in Bella Terra yesterday with My Son and when we drove by I told him I wanted to stop by if we had time.
I had driven by many times before and even checked out their site but never really had the time to stop in.
This time I did and I’m so glad I did.
I got something really simple but the guys were very informative and willing to help Me if I had the time.
I explained to Sal what I wanted and he got it right on point.
And the best part is even Mom loved My Tattoo.
