Really cool store and they have a variety of stuff like animé, marvel, pokemon, rilakkuma, studio ghibli, disney and pusheen. What i loved most about this store is that they have sooo many blind bags and boxes that i COULD NOT find anywhere else! I found Deadpool figural keyring blindbag, tsum tsum keyring blind bag, different series of Disney blind bags, and pusheen blind boxes! I literally died when i saw them cause i have been searching for these everywhere, especially the deadpool one. Owner was very nice when i bought my stuff, but will watch you while you’re browsing which is understandable because kids can be careless. Many items here are cheaper than in the Tokyo store next door. I will definitely be coming back here!

Super cool store! The selection of Animé figurines is great and the prices are fair. The owner is also super nice and when I check out she always tries to make
conversation. This store is definetely worth checking out.

If you want animé figures then this is the place to go. They are real imported goods that has the official stickers and aesthetics.
However, there is a small section for unofficial goods so be sure to compare the price or read the labels.
They have:
1) Various selections of Animé figures such as Figma, Nendoroid, Kotobukiya statue, etc.
2) American figures by McFarlane, Neca, etc.
3) Animé goods such as posters, plushies, keychains, pillows, or mystery box.
4) Model kits of HG/​MG Gundam
5) Collectible American figures of Disney and Funko.
6) Manga

One of my most favorite places to go whenever I need my animé fix. The figures the Manga and the random add one whenever I need to get ready for animé expo. The ladies who work there are always sweet and kind and always helpful. I love going there and I invite all animé lovers to come and check this spot out

They have a good selection of toys and collectables and the customer service is really good. The lady at the register really takes the time to help customers and answer questions. I recommend this store if you have kids that are into animé or video games or if you like animé and etc.

I just browsed through this store with my 4 year old and 6 year old who were being perfectly well-​behaved yet my children and I were stalked around the store like we were going to steal or break something. The woman practically blocked our way in one aisle like she was trying to intimidate me into leaving. It was ridiculous. On our way out the door she stops me and in incredibly broken English tells me that «my baby’s hand touched the toy» and shows me a small plush beanie baby and says, «she can’t touch». First of all my kids are obviously boys so I think «he can’t touch» is the phrase you were looking for, second, neither one of my boys is a «baby», third, don’t fill over half of your store with merchandise that is geared toward children and then expect that children will not walk into your store and maybe want to touch and look at a few things, especially things that are soft and plush. I’m never coming back here. If a woman and her two kids can’t walk through a store quietly and respectfully without being harassed then why would I ever give you my money? Advice for the owner: either lock up literally all of your merchandise into glass display cases or place a sign out front that says, «18 and over only.» This probably won’t be good for business but neither is making your guests feel like criminals.

One of my favorite stores whenever I’m at Westminster Mall. Back in the day they were located upstairs but have since relocated downstairs next to the Footlocker. The store is huge and has all sorts of animated collectibles you can think of. I came through with some friends last time and we picked up a few things and wasted money lol. This time I came back with the siblings and once again purchased more things and wasted more money but all for the fun of it lol.
The customer service is extremely friendly. The lady owner is always helpful and even provide insight and recommendations on what we should and should not purchase. I really enjoy the weapons collection they have. I’ve purchased some chucks, a pair of swords and a kendo stick all of which are my security system at home lol.
The ambiance is really nice. The store is huge compared to other stores of its kind. The price can be a bit high and I mean really high but certain stuff I see from here are rare and not available anywhere else so I guess. They also have backpacks, candy, clothing, trading cards, and figurines.

This store has a lot of great items and I enjoyed looking around until the owner interrupted my boyfriend and I while looking at a few figures. He was on the phone talking to a friend about a figure and picked up 2 of them at once. The lady came over and told me to help him so the figures won’t get dropped. She told use only one figure could be handled at a time and there were little notes everywhere that said «look with your eyes, not your hands». My boyfriend is a collector and handles figures daily and the fact that this lady came over and treated us like children made us immediately not want to buy ANYTHING from her. She also told me I had to put my drink in a designated area or I could not shop at the store. I have never been in a store with so many rules! I understand the owners reasoning for these rules but I think it’s overkill. The fact that we were treated this way made us feel very unwelcome in the store and we do not plan on returning.

This place is ok. The woman who runs it is a bit quite and makes sure none of the products get damaged. The collectibles are a bit overpriced but im pretty sure she has good reasons. Theres good stuff for everyone but i wish there were more Japanese comics. Nevertheless, its good store!

This is another great store with cool stuff and friendly staff. This is a great place for anyone who like animé, kawaii stuff, precious moments, glass trinkets and collectibles, and stuffed animals. I come here to buy many things that I like. The staff has always been friendly. One time, the lady helping us threw in a free pack of hi chew with our purchase, and another time, a different staff member, got stuff out for us that they had put on display, so she decided prices for us. We came back and she had charged us less than the price of the same items on display! I love it here!

Nice ass people. Came up on a bandai shodo super saiyan god goku figure for $ 13. They go for $ 70 and up online right now. Check them out. You might find some rare figures for cheap like I did. Shout outs to small wonders.

They told me I wasn’t allowed to touch the figures, only see with my eyes. They said those were «collector items» only. Guess they didn’t know… I’m a collector: O

Buyers beware! This store is overpricing you for your figures! I went to get a nendroid and was outraged they wanted 30 $ over the actual market price of the nendroid. And it isn’t because they are imported, I collect nendroids and figures and get imported goods for much cheaper. Do not let this place rip you off! Check the prices on them elsewhere before buying from this rip off den.

Small Wonders is an awesome collectible shop. lots of animé and video game-​themed items, as well as other themes. Nina’s great, too!

The bf and I have browsed through this store for almost a decade. They have a lot of different items in the store that could be really good gift ideas, and the prices aren’t too bad. They also do try and update their stock every week, and they seem to be able to special order certain merchandise if you request it.
For the most part, the bf and I have only good things to say about the store. It seems to be a family business, with the mom and daughters working everything. The bf and I really love the fact that they separated out the fake Animé figures with the real Animé figures, and they have signs letting you know that the figures on the walls are real, but the ones on the island is not. Price-​wise, the animé figures are a little bit more pricey than what you would get online, but you’d also have to realize that import shipping and taxes nip most of the profit of selling the animé figures. And, considering some figures are super-​hard to find anywhere else, we’ll pay the $ 5-​$ 10 premium on physically seeing the figure that we’re about to buy.
They do have a few things that aren’t real, such as the Rilakkumma plushes. I think some of them are actually labelled Rilukama, so you’ll know which of those are fake/​real. Their manga is fairly priced at around $ 7 versus the normal full price of $ 9.99 or above.
They have snowglobes, dragon figures, ugly dolls, music boxes, Funko pops… just a huge variety of things in the small store. They also have a few sections where items are probably 50% off.
They also have an annual membership that you can renew every year for $ 25. Benefits include 10% off your regular sale purchases (no discounts on 50% off sale items or anything else that’s a special), and free Hi-​Chews. There are also a few other things with the benefit, but those are the main ones that I’m reaping off the bf as he buys the store’s merchandise.
Service has been polite and helpful. The daughter really knows her merchandise, and is the one that would order any other items that they may have sold out in the store.

Yes this place is pricey, but if you want to item locally and interact with the workers and people in the store is worth it. Most of society now just buys online and ignore humans interactions. Call me old fashion but i would pay a little bit more just to talk and have a decent conversation with someone.
On another note the workers are really friendly, and they do have a lot of rare collectibles and a wide variety of animé and cartoon collections. Ranging from Posters to Models to action figures!

I’ve been to Small Wonders since I was like idk 8. I still go now a days! The store owners r really nice to me, they give coupons a lot, and they also give some treats! :) Nina, one of the store owners, would always help you get the items u need! If there isn’t the thing u want or can’t find, Nina would order it!!! I’m just trying to say that Small Wonders is the best animé store to me!!!

Small wonders has been in Westminster Mall for as long as I’ve known it. Been going here since I was a kid. I do collect animé figures so what I want to point out is its weird as they sell both real AND fake figures. Their fake figures are put on another display and are priced down dramatically, which, I mean, makes sense. They have quite a selection of real figures (statues, figmas, nendoroids, etc) except the only thing is they’re priced EXTREMELY high. and when I mean extremely I mean 69.99 for a figma and anywhere between 120 – 180 for a statue.
If you happen to come across a rare figure thats value is bumped up elsewhere it might be worth it, otherwise your best bet is to go to Kinokuniya in Costa Mesa or Animé King in Irvine.

there is a variety of animé toys, posters, stuff animals and other niffy animes that I adore at small wonders. not many places offer such a wide variety of amazing animé collections.
