Vip Nails

I have mixed reviews about this place. Whenever I come here it’s either really good, or really bad. I got a pedicure most recently, and asked for extra treatment for my dry heels: did not receive it. While I was getting my pedicure, 2 of my toes got cut trying to trim my cuticles. It was just not a pleasant experience. They do have a wonderful variety of colors, but I will not be coming back here.

I went in on a Sunday with my girlfriends for a regular mani/​pedi. We had a great time and my nails were done nicely. However the very next day they they started peeling! I was obviously disappointed. I called the salon back and they were understanding and told me to come back in and redo the polish. So tonight I went in and they took awesome care of me! They repainted my nails free of charge. They’re customer service is great and will return again! Thanks for making my experience great!

Ivy is the absolute best. She’s so sweet and adorable and did exactly what I wanted!!! I had a kind of glitter ombré picture and she copied it exactly. And she was so fricken nice :) we already decided that I’m gonna come back every few Tuesday’s just for her

I walked in unplanned because I had a little extra time and badly needed my nails done. As a new mom, these opportunities are rare! I’m usually not one to take a gamble on a new nail salon but I went for it anyways. I’m so glad I did! I just got some good ol’ tried and true tips, and they came out beautifully.
What I appreciated most about my experience here was how I was treated. Sometimes there’s a weird dynamic with a nail tech due to a language barrier. One always wonders if they’re talking about you as they talk amongst themselves, but this did not happen here. My nail tech was very pleasant.

Went for the first time today for a full set and I love it! I rarely get my nails done and had no idea where to go in the area, but saw some good Unilocal reviews for this place. I think I will have to start getting my nails done more often because they look greaaaaat!

Did a great job on my acrylics and French gel pedi. Will definitely go back. Location is to the left of the sprint store.

Awesome the lady that helped me her name is Ca she’s awesome she made sure I was always relaxed and comfortable I will be coming here again they have a lot of pedi chairs to! And the free hand designs are awesome!

My very first walk-​in and as I walked in the store inside looks clean and neat. You can’t even see the old nail dust on the tables. I had a lady tech who did my gel manicure. Which turn out amazing! The tech kept talking to me and making conversation to make me feel comfortable. This place is reasonable price. Just a warning book an appointment. Only if you don’t want to wait.

The staff at VIP Nails are so nice. If a nail chips or something happens between manicures/​pedicures they always fix it for free. I started seeing Jenny as she does excellent free hand work here. I usually never have to wait but highly recommend scheduling an appointment if you need to come over the weekend or evenings.

I went in her for a «quick pedicure» 30 minutes before they closed and walked away after over an hour of getting pampered. It was more than I was expecting and I wish I had more cash on me to tip better but I guess I will show my appreciation by returning!
I’ll admit I overheard more than 3 other people relaying stories of past appointment here vs others and had glowing reviews about length of appointment, price, and how long the manicure lasted and that made a big impression on me too. For me, I don’t do this often so the things that matter may differ than most like the ease of understand «what’s next» in the process. I appreciate the amount of talk here isn’t busy but it isn’t silent rude or only amongst employees. I paid extra for a little flower decoration and wasn’t disappointed.

Came here for the first time last month with a friend, who is a regular. I probably would have given this place 5 stars if I had the tech that my friend had — she did a great job, was very friendly and said more than five words (ok, so the last one is a really low standard). Sadly, the tech I was given did a fine job with my nails, but I can’t say she smiled even once or said more than 5 words (I can’t remember if she said anything other than «you pay now.»)
Service isn’t overrated, especially when the market is saturated with other options.

Cindy is the absolute best! Great prices, convenient, and consistent. It’s hard to find a clean and reliable place that has great prices. Pedicures and acrylic nails are always perfect!

Nice, clean shop. Lots of chairs so I got right in on a Saturday, which was shocking. The deluxe pedi was really nice. I will be back!

Quick and easy. In and out. Went in for an eye brow wax, waited about 5 mins. Did a fantastic job and was only $ 10.

I work close to this location and always have a good experience. The people who work there are friendly and do a thorough job. The salon is clean and profession. I got a gel manicure which started peeling the first week, went in and asked for a touch up and was taken care of immediately with an apology and no questions. Great customer service, I’m a fan!

I came to VIP nails on the recommendation of a coworker of mine. I am extremely picky about nail salons, as I am in the business, and I know the rules when it comes to sanitation. Absolutely amazing service! I have been coming here for almost 6 years. Friendly staff, great prices, comfortable chairs, you name it. I’ve done everything from waxing services, mani, pedi, shellac, etc. They have stayed late to get me in and even opened early. This should be the only place to get your nails done.

I have been getting my nails done at this salon for over 3 years now. I am extremely pleased with their services! I get pink & white acrylic nails as well as pedicures on a regular basis. Their deluxe pedicure with paraffin is so relaxing. The salon is always clean, professionally decorated and welcoming.
The location is very close to a hotel and the highway. I have seen them stay late to accommodate large parties of out of town visitors.

Happened in the neighborhood this past weekend and saw this nails salon. Decided to walk in to get my nails done. Wow, this salon is pretty big and the decorations are beautiful. There were probably more than 20 employees here. I signed in and waited for about almost 10 minutes. Not bad for a place this crowded. The lady worked on my nails was very friendly and gently. She did a nice job. My nails look beautiful. I will come back to try the pedicure service before decide to make it my regular nail salon.

THIS WAS MY FIRST AND WILL BE MY LAST TIME coming to VIP nails. It looks like a nice place, in a nice shopping center, so I thought «they must know what they are doing»… Nope. I walk in and was rudely greeted, and asked to sign in. I gave her the benefit of the doubt because everyone has a bad day. So I signed in, and sat down.
I waited for probably 10 minutes, not a big deal, I wasn’t in any rush and didn’t make an appointment. After 10 minutes, I was seen. I was looking to get my acrylic nails off and shellac put on. I have had this done numerous times before, so I am pretty aware of how it is supposed to go.
I set down at the chair, let the lady know what I wanted, and was EXTREMELY specific. I told her exactly what I wanted numerous times.
She started off by getting out a tip (one of the tips they use for putting on a full set of acrylic nails) and started PRYING my nails off. She started with my pinky nail, and it HURT! I told her numerous times that it hurt too. I asked her if I could soak my nails in acetone, like I have had done 100 times before. She said «no, it dries your cuticles». Let me tell you, I would much rather have my cuticles dry for a few days, versus ruining my nail beds, and being in pain as she is taking the nails off. She kept prying away at my nail, I kept telling her it hurt, and we keep going back and forth. Finally she brought out the nail drill and just start sanding down the acrylic that is on my nails. She kept grinding and grinding and grinding and prying and prying and prying.
Let me tell you, for all of you out there who have ever had an acrylic nail come off, or get ripped off, you know the pain and how bad it ruins your nail bed. It was TERRIBLE! She didn’t even get all of the acrylic off of my nails, but thought it looked good enough.
She then began the manicure portion, the water was freezing, and there was no soap or oil or anything in the dish. She started hacking away at my cuticles shortly thereafter. After she was finished with that, she began putting the shellac on, and then the hand massage followed. She didn’t even let me pick a color before I sat down to begin this torture secession.
All in all I paid $ 50 dollars to have my nail beds mutilated, stick my hands in cold water, and still have the acrylic on my nails that you requested to be taken off. This was truly the WORST MANICURE I have every received. I will never go back here.
