Florida Center For Allergy & Asthma Care

I have not been to the location in Weston, this is more of a general review for all of their locations in south Florida. I currently go to the location in Pembroke Pines and it might possibly be the worst run doctor’s office I have ever seen. The service is horrible. I feel like they could care less about their patients. They show zero empathy or concern. It really bothers me, but I can’t start over on my shots, so I’m stuck. When you walk in, they don’t even acknowledge you. I can’t write a review on the doctor (s) because they are always booked, so I have never met them. Avoid this clinic — there has to be more thoughtful centers in south Florida. I will say that I went to the location in Boca for 1 appointment and the PA was very nice, considerate, and engaged. Other than that experience, this is a 1 star clinic with zero star service.

Went out on a limb and it was the best thing I could of done!
After being «sick» on and off for about 4 months now I started to Google Allergies and centers for testing. To my surprise Unilocal had no reviews for this center (I found just one negative review about this corporation but at a different location) and took a chance hoping this location could be different from what I read about the other one and it sure was!
I have never been or had allergies before so I was brand to new this. I had a 9a. m appointment and after filling out the new client paperwork they called me in in less then 2 minutes! They took my height, weight, pressure etc I called this appointment to see if my «cold» was possibly allergies so they did a lung test that showed my lungs weren’t working to their best potential along with the allergy test.
Now about the allergy test for those of you thinking of doing it… it’s long and uncomfortable! I was pinched 171 times! 60 times on each forearm and the rest on my arms the forearms weren’t too bad just very annoying like a baby pinching you over and over and over and over again. The arms was a different story, they use an actual needle to test again the ones that you did NOT have a reaction to just to make sure. This part I actually cried for (I am NOT good fine or even okay with needles) so this part sucked! After everything the results came back. Although I cried and it was a long process I truly recommend everyone to get tested my results made so much sense and I can move forward. If you’re on the fence about it, defiantly get it done!
The doctor Kfir Shamir was amazing!!! I HIGHLY recommend him! He took his time with me sat in the room for about 40 minutes explaining to me what it could be and could not be. He was not in a rush and was extremely detailed and knowledgeable in his field. I did not feel as if I was just another client, and to me that means a lot. I noticed he was like this with all his clients. I honestly switch doctors all the time because I just never feel good or truly cared for about most of them, but Dr. Shamir is defiantly a keeper!!!
The whole staff except the doctor (i think) speaks Spanish and are ALL very friendly and helpful. They were all in good moods and joking around with each other as well as the clients. My nurse was sweet and patient even when I started to cry lol.
The location is on the 3^rd floor of a Citi Bank building and the actual office isn’t anything out of this world. Kind of plain boring and out dated but for the staff and actual results in which I went in there for it is defiantly 5 star worthy!
I recommend this location and Dr. Shamir.
