I’m from Knoxville and in town for the summer (work). Visited today (Sunday afternoon) after making an appointment yesterday. I arrived right at my scheduled time, was provided the colors to choose from and almost before I could decide which one I wanted, Alicia was ready to get started. For NexGen they have so many colors to choose from, it’s great. I decided to try NexGen nails based on the Unilocal reviews and couldn’t be happier! Alicia did an awesome awesome job. Now I need to see if NexGen will withstand my constant hand washing, but I have high hopes. The salon is clean and beautiful. I will be scheduling my next appointment soon and plan on taking my Mom and Sister for Mani/​Pedis. I’m glad I chose this as the first salon to try, because I don’t need to keep looking.

I have been going to Passion for Nails for a few months. They are one of a few places that do NexGen nails and they do a better job on them than anywhere else I have tried. The atmosphere is upscale but not pretentious. Everyone is friendly. They have a huge selection of colors for both NextGen, Gels and regular and they have vinyl polish, if that is your thing. I would suggest making an appointment, sometimes they can take walk ins, but it is better to at least call ahead, they stay pretty busy.

Called ahead of time to be sure that there would be someone to take me for an acrylic fill and was told that they had someone available. I mentioned I would be there in 5 minutes, which I was. I got there, picked my color, sat down and waited 5 minutes before one of the workers walked up to me and told me they didn’t have any space for me for the rest of the day. When I mentioned that I called and was told that someone was available, the lady proceeded to say «oh well this is what the manager said». Extremely rude and unprofessional. Sad because the place is beautiful and very convenient for me.

Would not recommend– arrived as a walk in and was told that I would have a 10 minute wait for a Nexgen manicure. After waiting 15 minutes another client arrived who was 15 minutes late for her appointment and they had the manicurist take care of her and told me that I couldn’t be serviced until an hour and a half later. Although I can’t speak to the quality of the services because I left at that point I can say that I felt this was extremely unprofessional.

My wife and daughter love Passion for Nails. I joined them today for a pedicure. It was a lot of fun and Tricia took it easy on me. They are extremely personable and friendly. After a long week this was just what the doctor ordered

…was looking for an alternative to Venetian and The Nail Lounge — too busy and too impersonal. So glad I decided to try Passion for Nails! I had no clue the girl doing my hands was the Owner — I don’t usually see that. Trish was very nice and did an excellent job with NexGen. Tatiana did my pedicure — excellent.
Definitely will go back!

The woman who runs the salon is rude & very unprofessional. It’s unfortunate because it’s a pretty place & seems clean.
The foot massage with the pedicure lasted about a minute.
I’ve been to this salon about 4 times & it’s been hit or miss. This was my last time. She seemed upset because I didn’t want to try a product she was pushing. It’s not the first time I have encountered this lack of professionalism with her, but it will be the last.

Passion for Nails is a great nail salon! My daughter and I have been coming here for a little over a year. The staff is extremely professional and nice. The salon itself is really clean and decorated nicely, but not too feminine, so even a guy could enjoy services as this place. And the prices are more than fair. It can be difficult to get in at times, so you should book an appointment.

Went in to get gel nails & for some reason the polish didn’t adhere on my nail well, so I went back the next day to see if something could be done. I was really hesitant to go back in fear of being given an attitude or something, but went anyways. The staff was extremely nice about it and a lady I believe to be the owner took over & gave me a brand new gel manicure. She went the extra mile of introducing me to something I had never heard of called NexGen & it came out amazing. I am very pleased by the quality of the work & the customer service here! :)

I had a great experience at Passion for Nails. I was greeted, sat down in a chair right away and Jessica was the nail tech who did my mani/​pedi. She took her time, completed everything very thoroughly and I never felt like I was rushed or taking up their time. This is by far the cleanest and most inviting nail salon I have ever been to. Stop by for your next service!

Finally I found a nail place where I can get my money’s worth, no rushing. I love it! Tatiana is the best, and the sweetest. In all honesty though all of there staff is friendly and does a great job, they will not let you leave unless you are happy with the job that they did. I recommend this place to anyone who is looking for an amazing nail place!

So disappointed. The UNPROFESSIONALISM was unreal. She got mad RAN OUT OF salon after kicking us out and said we have issues because of the mere fact I was writing a review on this situation!
We Call ahead of time to make appointment and it was completely unprofessional. Supposed to be there at 430 show up at 443. Now they can’t confirm the fills. They didn’t even call back and say they had walk ins who took our spot. as a matter a fact it was a group of 4 girls doing two spa pedis two fills. Definitely can tell this is a new nail salon.
Will never come back again! Front desk didn’t even apologize and then when they heard I was writing a BAD REVIEW. Basically have attitude and told us to get out. CONTINUED and came back saying we have issues. The UNPROFESSIONALISM is Disappointing because the salon is so NICE!

I recently visit the shop again very nice place clean all the workers were helpful and :-) I will recommend this place to anyone it’s a good spot they even had coffee and cookies that was a good moment I just saw a bad review on here but I can’t say that my experience was bad I wouldn’t judge this place by one bad review it’s a pretty clean spot I like it you should try it.

I was all excited to try this place but what a disappointing experience. The polish bubbled and when I went back the girl tried to tell me I smudged it. I may not be a nail tech but I know the difference. She pretty much dismissed me, saying I could come back in a couple if hours for her to fix it. Since that would put me right at getting ready to go out time, I’m now at a different salon paying for a polish change. The girls attitude sucked. Stay away.
