Wait times are about 1 to 2 years long. Seriously… It’s about 10 minutes per person. Something they need to work on but I doubt they ever will. Maybe the longer wait times I’ve ever seen.

Delicious food but incredibly long wait times.
I went through the drive thru around 6:30 pm, they had an employee taking order but he didn’t have a menu for me to pick something to eat. I googled their menu and was able to place my order.
After 25 mins through the drive thru I was given my order (no crotons on my salad :(though) The price was under $ 10 which wasn’t bad for a real meal, but the wait times are ridiculous.
I’m not sure if they’re under staffed or just unorganized, if wait times were under 10 mins that’s reasonable, but for a restaurant that has almost ALL their food ready it’s too long. I really hope they fix their times, I don’t know how they manage to run so slow.

Food was ok order rice black beans and pollo a la plancha with to stones surprisingly good the to stones were ok they didn’t taste fresh but everything else was good not a bad spanish food restaurant and for the price very convenient

I’ve been going to Pollo Tropical in Weston for over 15 years. I went today to pick up dinner & they had no rice, no plantains, no brown or yellow rice. That is like MacDonalds running out of burgers. That place has seen better days. I couldn’t post without leaving a rating but honestly…0 stars for Pollo Tropical of Weston.

Because Unilocal listed their Saturday closing time as midnight, my friend and I arrived at 10:50, not realizing the actual closing time was 11:00, not midnight. Yet, despite the fact we were there 10 minutes before closing, we were not turned away. We were told they were out of white rice and brown rice, but other than that, we were able to get our Caribbean chicken soup with a side of yellow rice. They even told us we could eat in, and did not rush us out. The manager told us to let him know if we needed anything more and told the rest of the staff to not bother us. Great customer service here!

Looking for slow service, hoping they’ll get your order wrong and want to feel guilty for even ordering your meal? Look no further, this Pollo Tropical does that and much, much more! The food is good, but dont look at the service stations where they make it. You may lose your appetite. A plus is one of the shift managers. Very friendly and you can see he’s trying to make a squad of workers efficient. A losing battle thus far.

This is the first time I have been here. My family in Florida always rave about it. I figured to try it out and it was really good, they have a trip combo meal for $ 9 roasted pork loin, ¼ chicken, Caribbean pork ribs. Everything is on an open fire grill. The good was all very tasty. We also had fried plantains !! OMG !! They were the BEST! They have a condiment bar with BBQ sauce, try the guava BBQ sauce. It’s delish. A cilantro garlic dip/​dressing. Is to die for! The place is a must go! Lots of sides to choose from. I will definitely be back again!

This is the type of place that I would go to often when in the mood for something fast but «healthy». I had one of the build your own Tropichop bowls. To me, coming from Southern California, this place is El Pollo Loco marries Chipotle, and raised their offspring in a South American influenced culture.
The food was great. Chicken was busy getting grilled in the back (just like you would see at El Pollo Loco), and everything seemed fresh. The build your own option allows you to make the type of meal you are in the mood for from Latin to BBQ to down home rice/​meat/​veggies. The sauces were so delicious, and my favorite was by far the Cilantro Garlic. I may be trying to figure out how to make this one at home!

You really can’t screw up chicken, rice & beans. This is a good stop for a fast healthy meal. Much healthier alternative than other fast food chains.

Great place for a quick, tasty and healthy meal. As the name says Pollo or chicken is really good. Coupled with a salad or veggie its very healthy and satisfying. There is much more than chicken on there menu now. They also serve steak, fish, shrimp and pork. Oh, the pork. Soo good. I will continue to patronize this establishment for a quick healthy treat when I am running short on time or just don’t feel like cooking. Only thing missing here is beer, but then it would not be as healthy. Cheers.
