Cycle Dynamics

Brought my bike in for a quick wheel truing right before Memorial Day weekend. Was in a rush to get my bike fixed for my trip. I was helped by Matt and he got it done in a couple hours. He was super helpful and provided great service.

Needed cleats for my new shoes. Easy peasy purchase. Knowledgable staff. Super friendly and helped me out with understanding more about clear position.

What a pathetic experience! After spending some considerable time with salesman Matt in late June I decided on ordering a brand new bike from Cycle Dynamics. Matt told me the bike would be in by the end of July. I was also told by Matt that he would be following-​up weekly with the manufacturer and consistently up date me on the status of when the new bike would be shipped to the store. Cycle Dynamics never lived-​up to what they told me. After not hearing anything for a few weeks I walked into the store and spoke with Matt. I was told yet again by Matt that my bike would be in by the end of July. It took about fifteen minutes for the store to locate the order slip. Matt also told me with the store owner (who didn’t seem to care) by his side that he is still calling the manufacturer regularly. It takes fifteen minutes to find the order ticket and you claim your following-​up with the manufacturer weekly? It’s now one week into August and I’ve heard absolutely nothing. Cycle Dynamics is pathetic!
What a ridiculous response from the owner Charlie.
1) Cycle Dynamics never got in touch with me over the course of July when they said they would.
2) When the manufacturer did call seven weeks after the bike was ordered they said the store should never have sold me the bike since it was no longer in production and Cycle Dynamics should have absolutely known that.
3) When I went to store to speak with the owner after being told by the manufacturer the bike should have never been sold to me, Charlie claimed no responsibility and blamed it on the manufacture and offered me nothing for waiting seven weeks.

I just got a great bike from cycle dynamics! They helped me find the perfect bike for what I needed and I couldn’t be happier! They also helped me out with setting me up with some great front and rear lights for when I’m riding at night! They’re helpful and handsome, doesn’t get better than that!

The nicest bike guys around. Clean and efficient shop, good options and run by a very friendly and knowledgeable staff. The owner is awesome! Not sure how their prices stack up, but hey it’s Westport. Go for the service and know that they’ll fit you with the perfect bike for you and not push something just for a sale.

I am new to the area, and decided I wanted a bike. I knew I wanted something a little bit nicer than a Sports Authority bike, so I looked up Cycle Dynamics, and am thankful that I did.
The guys here are super friendly, and did not push me to a more expensive bike, when they easily could have. They had me ride a few and talked to me how I looked on each, and felt on each. I am very happy with the bike I chose — they took the time to tune it, install a trip computer for me, and even put on my water bottle holder.
They also offer free service for the first time, which is a huge plus. And, I think it’s the kind of place that if something went wrong, I could easily go back and they’d help me.
