What a rude, apathetic, unfriendly, nasty, arrogant, pompous man. I also question his qualifications as he advised me that he would not work on my tooth for whatever reason (lack of skill) he said I needed a special specialist.
THANK YOU since he diagnosed the wrong tooth. So yes I question his skill as an endo.
I went to Brooklyn and paid for an incredible job with my out of network dentist. No specialty just knowledge took care of the correct tooth with a routine root canal all in one day.

Let me start by saying that the procedure itself was fine and my husband has not had any issues since. However, this doctor was flat out rude, had no empathy or patience, and seemed to be annoyed by our presence. Unfriendly does not even begin to describe his personality. My husband had a badly infected tooth that needed emergency root canal. He has this reputation among other dental professionals in the area, our dentist continues to refer patients to him but actually warns people about his bedside manner in advance.

This is a nice little practice in Westport, and I was looking forward going. It’s not because I love root canals, which require an endodontist, but it was just a check up and I like to visit the area.
The assistant was friendly as I entered the office. She got me situated in one of the rooms where I was waiting for the doctor. I listened to the smooth Jazz music, and admired the pictures and posters that where displayed all over the room (s). The doctor came after a short while, and really got me of guard. I don’t know why, but I found him unfriendly, rude and nothing of what I expected. I really hoped my first encounter with him to be completely different.
The assistant asked me if I wanted to make an appointment after my 1 minute conversation, but I wasn’t in the mood at all to come back to this place. I left the office and said «Goodbye» which was only returned by the assistant, the doctor simply ignored me as he was playing on his Blueberry phone.
I can’t say anything about his work as a professional endodontist, he might be a darn good one, but I left the building feeling like something was wrong with me… and it was not my tooth.
