History

Established in 1997.

Under the direction of former New York City Ballet dancer Liz Geyer, all of our classes are taught by professionals ensuring high-​quality instruction. Full Circle Studio is committed to providing a creative training environment for dancers of all ages and abilities, embracing traditional to emerging styles and inspiring dancers to strive for both technical excellence and meaningful artistry. For non-​dancers interested in fitness and well-​being we offer a variety of exciting class options.

Liz has given master classes and regular courses in dance and Pilates for over two decades. In 1997, she formed her own company and school, Full Circle Studio, in Middletown, which has been a fixture in Orange County ever since. The studio has produced a number of professional dancers who have gone on to dance in New York City and elsewhere. Many of her graduates have been accepted into professional college training programs around the country including The Joffrey Ballet School, Point Park, Adelphi.

Business Owner

Liz began performing at the age of eleven with New York City Ballet. At age seventeen, she started her career as a full member of the company. Liz has had the honor of working with both George Balanchine and Jerome Robbins while in the corps de ballet. As a young dancer, Liz travelled and performed as a guest artist with the Ballet De San Juan in Puerto Rico, and other dance companies in New York City.

A long time resident of Orange County, Liz has been involved in the cultural community since 1988.

As Cultural Affairs Coordinator for Orange County Community College (SUNY Orange) for ten years, and Sullivan County Community College for one year, Liz organized and hosted workshops, performances and exhibits which contributed to the cultural life of the community. Most notably, she hosted her former colleagues, New York City Ballet company members the great ballet dancers, Gelsey Kirkland and Jacques D’Amboise on several occasions for master classes with children and adults, and plante
