Starting out full time in the child photography business Mariel O. Photo wanted gain more experience with other portraiture. Being a guest of several weddings in 2014, she decided to branch out to the highly competitive industry.

So why choose Mariel O. over any other photographer? Well this photo captures a little bit. I love smiling and laughing and am so happy when I get the shot. I’ve climbed trees and laid down low as well as fallen too many times to count just to capture it all.

I’ve started my photography journey with landscapes but nothing inspires me more than portraits. I probaby started with the toughest… children. The laughs and joys I’ve captured gave me the confidence to expand to famlies and other lifestyle shooting.

Only after I got married in 2014 that I took a closer look at the business of weddings. Its amazing to be in the presence of love and I want to witness as much of it as possible. I also love everything after including maternity, newborn, families, and anything else you can celebrate.
