This is my FAVORITE place to go in Wethersfield. They have tons of local items and impressively priced for a normal person budget. So you can actually buy local and not be in the hole. Seriously great little place that is a joy to walk around and a purchase little delights.

This store is so stinking cute and all of their items are so unique and AMAZING! I love buying CT local items, and they have everything from traditional candy to specialty cheeses and everything in between. Love love love this place. I originally stopped here to purchase some CT items to make a gift baskets with for some clients and let me tell you the recipients are still raving about how unique and delicious everything was.

Let me just applaud the owners Megan and John for opening this location. The selection and the different quality items that they offer at the store make it a one-of-a-kind location. My girlfriend and I will stop in here periodically and pick up many of the different things they have, Rosso notorious to grab ourselves a treat. They also have farm fresh eggs and milk along with a wonderful array of candy and cheeses. Every time I go in there’s always something new and the selection is great I highly suggest you check it out.

I’ve been following them on Instagram for a bit but I live in Louisiana so I had to wait for a visit to CT to make it in and see for myself all the cool things they post! Things that are super exciting: Kombucha on tap! Huge array of nut and peanut butters! Nora cupcakes! SOMUCHCANDY! Olive oils! They also have take-home meals in a freezer, local breads, and chocolates. I think this is a great little addition to the Old Wethersfield area and definitely fits the vibe. If I lived back in Weth, I’d be there every day!

What a fun place. They have a unique variety of high-end groceries, including a lot of local selections. I picked up an amazing cheese from Cato Corner. There are plenty of sweets, breads, sauces, and tons more. The highlight for me was the kombucha on draft, which you can buy in a bottle or growler. I’ll be back on a semi-regular basis for that alone — theirs is less expensive and tastes much better than what you’ll find at the supermarket.

I am forever indebted to Connecticut Food and Farm for bringing the awesomeness of Old Wethersfield Country Store to my attention. I went today after an appointment in town. First time and won’t be my last. Local love abound with many of my favorites including NoRa cupcakes and dipped oreos, Cato Corner Farm Cheese, Mystic Cheese, DiFiore Ravioli Shop and others like Whole Harmony teas, Pure Love Granola, Divine Treasures, Sixpence Pie Co., etc. The store is set up in a way that makes it easy to walk around and explore, the staff are very nice and helpful, the prices are great(Krave jerky is $ 1 less here than Whole Foods) and the products are high quality. Also, there is kombucha on tap in the back. Usually not a fan of kombucha but theirs was great. I got the blood orange. Can’t wait to be back!

A real gem in Old Wethersfield. Imported cheeses, chocolates, fresh pastas, local baked goods and lots of penny candy! Soaps, Nic nacks and other fine treats. This has been missing from this historic area for a long time.

Very cute place. Lots of local items that you usually have to drive from town to town to find so very nice to be able to pick up right here in Wethersfield. The candy wall will be a big hit with kids. Will definitely be back often for local meat and dairy.

A great looking new store in Old Wethersfield. I picked up honey and a lovely, fresh bread with cranberries and nuts. The owners are terrific!
