I had a good experience with Aquaknot. Paul Troy has his affairs in order and follows up regularly with updates. They came out last fall, gave us a quote for a pool liner replacement which has a 25 year warranty. In the spring Paul followed up as promised and had the liner replaced in a few weeks. The work was quality, the liner looks great and the price was reasonable. They also arranged for water delivery so I didn’t have to worry about that. They also replaced our old, noisy motor and pump with an energy efficient whisper flow. It was installed by the time I woke up the next morning!

I was hoping to give them business but they were not interested. So, while I cannot rate them on pool service, I have sufficient information to rate them on customer service which is poor.

Given the chance to start over I wish I called someone else. They are basically a project manager that hire a bunch of subcontractors. The subs ended up being more helpful and made a bad transaction tolerable. Call Dave Austin directly instead — that’s one of their main subcontractors, and he was great.
