My name is Alex Jarvie, and I have been detailing cars since 1992, when I worked at the Larz Anderson Auto Museum in Brookline, MA. Working under the Museum curator, I learned the basics of Auto Detailing, and had the chance to care for many rare and exotic automobiles.

My new shop, Driven Perfection, is dedicated to provide the highest quality Auto Detailing Services on the South Shore. We offer everything from basic hand washes to Complete Interior And Exterior Details. We also offer Expert Window Tinting, Paintless Dent Removal, Odor Removal, Truck Lettering and Roadblock Paint Protection.

To better get to know our Clientele, we are launching Driven Events for 2010, a series of Car Shows, Movie Screenings, and Cruises. These Events will be free to the public, and we will be accepting donations for St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital to help this very worthy charity. The review is towards my tint experience —
The tint guy is not good at his job. My car had mini bubbles through out each window. Even when he redid, there was still bubbles. Its very frustrating and annoying to take time out from my schedule to keep coming back to resolve my tint issues. I had both my cars tinted here and both times failed. My initial car, I checked after a year, the bubbles was still there and did not dissipate. The 2nd car had the same issues.
As a note to the owner — I saw the way he tinted the car. He did it in the same room in which they detail cars. As a result, dust particles can get on the window no matter how much he cleans. Its inevitable. Word of advice for anyone interested in getting tints — Bring your car to a professional tint shop. A detailing shop should stick to detailing and not mix with tinting. I am not sure how there are 5 stars review for tints. Did the old tinter get replace with someone new? Either way, the current tint guy needs more practice.

Alex and his team made my car look brand new again! They got rid of a ton of scratches that I thought were hopeless, and the inside is fresh and clean. Alex was great to work with, very responsive and super accommodating!

I am very meticulous when it comes to who I would clean my car and who I would trust to even have it for an extended period of time. I like to detail my car every spring so it looks good for the entire summer. I spent a significant amount of time researching detail shops in the area that would service my needs, and expectations. I then came across Driven Perfection.
Not only was Alex the consummate professional and assured my satisfaction, but was very knowledgeable about what was to be done, and how each step would be done. This put my mind at ease and made me realize that Alex cares about his customers cars just as much as his customers do.
When I went back to pick the car up, it looked brand new. Not only were scratches taken care of, but the attention to detail in cleaning the smallest areas of the car were taken care of as well. I am proud to say that I no longer will ever have to research, or go to for that matter, another detail shop in the Boston area. Driven Perfection will forever have my business.

Driven Perfection is Absolutely the best! Alex is committed to your satisfaction and does an outstanding job. The miracles he has worked with our minivan (cloth interior) are amazing. 2 young children with snacks, crayons, and forgotten food embedded in the seats and floors — Like New when Alex was done! Driven Perfection and Alex were personally recommended to me and now I want to spread the word, you will not be disappointed.
A side note– Do not waste your time with the groupon jokers. You can do better in an hour with a shop vac and a bottle of amour all in your driveway.

Perfection is the only way to describe this business. I showed up early for my appointment before business hours and I was greeted promptly by the shop manager. (Wish I remembered his name). He walked me through the services that were included with my stage 2 interior & exterior package and off I went.
The results:
My car looks the same way it did when it rolled off of the showroom floor! I could not believe the mirror shine that was brought back to life by Alex and his team of professionals. The interior looks so clean that it looks like new carpet was installed throughout the car. The car has a clean new car neutral scent too. I hope this review is shared with the Driven Perfection team because their work is top notch.
Bring your car to Alex to help protect it from the crazy winter ahead of us and you will be happy that you did!

Just picked my car up this morning and I have to say, I had a great experience. The owner, Alex is very welcoming and very accommodating. I did have to wait a month or two before I could actually have the detail done. But quality service and finished product is worth the wait. I greatly appreciate the help and work of all those at Driven Perfection and I have a couple more cars that could use a good detail. As for particulars on the detail, all was good. There are one or two minuscule spots that may have needed a little more clay bar, but nothing to moan over by any means. Overall, great experience and will return soon.

I brought my 2011 Toyota Tundra for a complete detail and window tinting. Alex and his team at Driven are top notch! I can say that the truck looks better now than the day I bought it new! I have brought cars that I have owned to different places around the area and none of them can match the level of detail that Driven Perfection can produce! This is the 4th time now and each time they have produced a finish product that is second to none. I will never go anywhere else for my detailing needs! I have already booked my next appointment for my wife’s Highlander!

I brought my brand new 2015 Ram 1500 here for an opti coat. The owner seemed nice but disinterested when i arrived to drop off… My appointment was a month out… not bad considering… My problem was when i went to pick up my truck. No call to tell me its ready… I show up at the end of the day fingers crossed. It was done. The owner does a walk through and again seems disinterested… Immediately i notice a small chip in the paint on the rear above the wheel well. The owner kinda shrugs and says“Must’ve been a pebble that kicked up from the tire”…OK …(Mind you my truck just rolled of the production line 3 weeks prior) this is most likely the case but you still cant rule out they did it especially with under 100 miles on the truck. But with no proof… How can i argue. So i didn’t… But here’s the thing. applying opti coat is a very detailed process. How do you not notice this imperfection and not say anything to me or at least a call with a repair solution even if it cost me… Instead they chose to ignore it and hope i didn’t notice I’m guessing … I walked up to the truck and noticed it within seconds of looking… So me. not being a professional detailer… noticed this chip from a minimal distance … And a pro applying opti coat with his face inches away didn’t notice. HMMMM. So i gave 3 stars because the rest of the truck looked great and i chalked up the owners disinterest as a long day… I might give them another crack at it next year (No pun intended) unless i can find someone that does opti coat that close to me…
***Update***
Alex went above and beyond to rectify the situation.. I’ll be taking all my interior and exterior car needs back to Alex and Driven Perfection..

Alex’s meticulous attention to detail precisely validates his company name — perfection it is! Wanted to have our Porsche thoroughly detailed before listing for sale and his work has undoubtedly increased the value. We’ve owned the car for over 18 years and can say without hesitation that it looks newer than the day we bought it. Not only is their work incomparable, but Alex himself is a very friendly, approachable, and available guy for any questions you may have. I knew I would be trading in my sedan for an SUV with all wheel drive sometime after this winter. I also knew I wanted to trade in my car and get the most money for it.
I called Driven Perfection hoping that I would be able to get in for a full detail with the engine steamed sometime in the next week. I had no idea they would be booking months in advance! I read all the reviews on here and decided it would be worth it.

I’m so glad I waited the two weeks (I took a random Wednesday off) for the day to arrive. I showed up at 8:15am and picked up at 5:45pm. I have never, ever, EVER seen my car look so good. It was immaculate. It couldn’t have looked better coming off the assembly line. Alex made sure I was happy before I paid and I couldn’t have sounded more like a little kid at Christmas.
I am thoroughly impressed and will take every car I ever own here for a cleaning. I’ll just remember to book early for a weekend!

and as usual a job very well done. I got a lot more when I traded the vehicle in after the detailing than before. An investment with a return of more than 700% in a day is not to shabby.

thank you to Alex and crew! This is the second car I brought in to get detailed. They do an amazing job. My car was a giant mirror it was so shiny! I also had some white water stains that I couldn’t get out. Well Driven Perfection got them out for me. I love this place! Can’t say enough about Alex and his team’s work. I took my 3-​year old VW GTI in for a stage II complete detail, and they gave it a Ferrari treatment. This went beyond your typical detail, with a depth of paint finish and complete absence of interior dust that would lead you to believe this was a brand new car. In fact, by comparison my car looked notably shabby straight when I bought it from the dealer!
And when I asked Alex if I could pick up my car after closing time, Alex didn’t flinch and granted me flexibility. Great customer service. Will certainly return and recommend to others!

After being severely let down by another detailing center in Hingham, I was thoroughly impressed by the work done at Driven Perfection.
Let me preface with the fact that I had just acquired this car from a family member. There were a few horrendous stains of unknown origin in the back seat, not to mention a myriad of scratches on the exterior of the car. The previous owner had brought it TWICE to a detailing center in Hingham to have the stain removed. Neither attempt was successful.
Enter Driven Perfection.
First off, this company actually does work out of two locations: the flagship in Weymouth and a satellite location at the Posh Wash in Hanover. Since the Weymouth location was booked for the next 2 ½ weeks, I made an appointment for a full (interior and exterior) «Phase 2» detail in Hanover for the upcoming Saturday. I left the car with Jason at about 8:30AM and picked it up at 4:45PM. The total cost was $ 200, which is about on par with other detailing services around here.
I cannot say enough good things about my experience. The car was spotless: the unknown stains were completely gone; all surfaces were spic and span; all the door jambs were blown out; all the rugs were pristine; the majority of the exterior scratches were buffed out. In other words, my car received all services that a full detail should include, and more! Aside from being an automotive miracle worker, Jason was also very friendly and flexible with his schedule, and he even gave me a $ 10 gift certificate for the car wash.
Driven Perfection has exceeded my expectations, and I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking for the best detailing service in the South Shore.
