Superior service at the East Weymouth Walgreens this Saturday.
Walked in and was immediately greeted by an employee and asked by another if I needed any help. All of the employees were helpful and professional. Great prices on all products throughout the store. They had lots of clearance and a great seasonal area. The store wasn’t busy, had a large, vast parking lot, that was also not busy. The store was extremely clean, provided a large selection of food /​seasonal /​candy /​beauty /​pet /​and medical type products (it IS a pharmacy though, so that’s expected). Additionally, convenient location: located on Route 53 (Washington Street), close to the Middle Street Junction (by the Walmart plaza, and the Shaw’s plaza), and quite close to Route 18 (Main Street) as well as Route 3, the major highway in the area. Definitely one of the better pharmacy-​like stores in the direct area (I haven’t spotted any others anyway…). Wonderful, and I completely appreciated the amazing service here (haven’t got THAT kind of service at any other pharmacy places, normally most are understaffed). 5 stars.

This review is also for the Pharmacy, all you ever get is attitude, and a hard time as if your inconveniencing them by going there.
Some staff have no clue what there talking about, I was told that they only had a certain amount of my prescription so I said ok that’s fine I’ll take what you have and come back when you have the rest and then they said well if you take the amount now you can’t get the rest later… what? That makes no sense and he didn’t know why so he asked someone else and they told him he was wrong.
What if there was no one there to tell him he’s a idiot and miss interpreted what was told to him, or he was doing this to a bunch of people and they were sent away thinking that’s the policy.

This review is for their PHARMACY.
Everyone there is helpful except the MANAGER. The manager is rude and incompetent. She intentionally did not reorder my correct prescription. I had to do without my medication for 5 days because of her. Unbelievable that a MANAGER is allowed to act the way she acts. When I call and tell you I have the wrong medicine don’t act like I’m bothering you. Don’t tell me you’ll «look in to it» and never do it. She actually blamed me for not checking it!!! You should find another job if you’re so unhappy there. We would ALL appreciate it! Awful.

One of the cleaner Walgreens I have been to and definitely better than the Walgreens at Southern Artery. They do need more staff though, they always need backup at the register.
