Funtown RV

Nope! Just nope! We’ve always purchased from the same dealer back home, fun town was giving us a better dealer & they had the 5^th wheel we wanted… very disappointed! Our salesman waited until 3:40 on a Friday to send everything to our credit union… we put a deposit down to hold the camper & he had over a week to get this paperwork over to them. They had two campers on site, one on the lot & one on storage… I told our salesman we wanted the one in storage since it hadn’t been unwrapped yet, we didn’t get that one & there was a little wear on the one sitting on the lot! We drove hours one way to do business here… won’t go back!!! They didn’t have anyone who could give us a paper tag… over a week later we still don’t have one. There’s so much more I could add, but I’m trying to move on… here is your warning people!!! You are just a $ sign to them! I heard them bragging to a couple trying to negotiate that they sold over $ 174 campers last month alone. basically saying, they don’t need to come off the price. Shop around!
Update* after speaking with David Kidd, GM, he took care of the issues & really worked hard to earn my trust back! He really showed me the customer service I should’ve received the first time around! Thank you David for taking care of us!!!

Do not buy a Wildwood X-​Lite. Very poorly made! It took service 3 weeks to do minor repairs which I can kind of understand but when I picked it up they charged me $ 2.00 for a non working light bulb they replaced under warranty. Like other people have mentioned in these reviews, Fun Town is all about sales, not service. I would not recommend buying an RV from them. I would like to mention that Daryl in service tried to be helpful. All it takes is one light bulb to lose a customer.

Don’t take your chances. Go to a more reliable company.
Funtown RV Wharton — seems like they have decent deals, but they don’t work with you at all. All they want is your money… I wanted to find out what payments were going to be on a trailer, before I bought it. They told me I had to put in a down payment to get a payment quote — so I did. I ended up not liking the deal, and expected my down payment back, or at least half — didn’t happen. Then they told me I could use the credit for accessories, but when I drove all they way down to Funtown, they changed their mind and weren’t concerned at all on my part. It was a lose, lose for me. I won’t be doing business with them again. I’ll be going to more professional company.
