Our well-​trained, highly professional staff consists of laser skin technicians, dermatechnician, lasik consultantants, ophthalmic technicians, opticians, and finance specialists. All work closely with Dr. O’Rourke to bring you the quality care you deserve.

History

Established in 2005.

Dr. O’Rourke has been in practice in the Westminster and Arvada area since 1990. She was previously in practice at the Eye Surgery Center of Colorado, and in 2005 opened her own practice, Northwest Eye Center, P.C. Her practice has continued to grow and has recently added an associate, Dr. Nolan Hathaway, M.D. Dr. O’Rourke specializes in cosmetic procedures and eyelid surgeries as well as dry eyes and Comprehensive Ophthalmology. Dr. Hathaway specializes in cataract surgery and medical retinal including macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy. They both enjoy routine eye care.

Business Owner

Dr. O’ Rourke received her Bachelor of Sciences degree from the University of Colorado (CU), Boulder, in 1980 and her M.D. degree from the University of Colorado School of Medicine in 1984. Board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology since November 1991, Dr. O’Rourke practiced with the Eye Surgery Center of Colorado for 15 years before opening the Northwest Eye Center in October 2005. She is an accomplished surgeon, treats glaucoma and diabetic eye disease, and provides routine eye care, as well as LASIK and PRK. She also performs cosmetic eye procedures. Dr. O’ Rourke volunteers at the Stout Street Eye Clinic, assisting the homeless in metro Denver. She and husband, Paul, are also active participants with Vision Health International, and over the past 16 years have participated in countless projects providing indispensable eye care to those in need in Latin America.
