I honestly feel bad leaving a negative review for a small business, but I feel like the information I’m sharing is worthwhile for customers. In summary, I had to take my jeep in to get a windshield replacement. There were issues with rust that they uncovered (which was proactive) unfortunately everything thereafter was not. I ended up having to bring my vehicle in 3 separate times over a period of 8 months and the last time I was charged for the treatment. Really the worst of it was the lack of communication and empathy. The owner is thorough and nice, but the last time I left the jeep I was told it’d take 1 full day. 3 days of me calling for updates later, it was finally finished. I hope this is a single circumstance but I will not be returning their for anything else. Wish them the best and hope they can work on their customer service.

I went in late 2015 (I think November) on a Groupon for an oil change but I asked them to winterize and check it over because I bought it a year ago and it’s over 10 years old (97,000 miles). They finished when they said they would, and told me it looks great, that the timing belt was replaced, but that the rear brakes are 80% gone and I didn’t need the rotors done and the front brakes are about 60% but I don’t need to have them done yet. They could have told me the transmission was going, that I needed a timing belt — I know nothing about cars. They actually advised against doing some other maintenance things and said to wait on those. The tires are pretty new so they rotated them and recommended I get that done when I get oil changes. I made the appointment for the brakes and same story. On time, no surprises, extremely polite and professional. They printed out a sheet of manufacturer recommended maintenance and told me what I really should do and what I could blow off given the age and worth of the car — they were great. Best mechanics I’ve ever had and I tell everyone about them. The guy I talked to was an engineer but he likes working on cars better. The teenage son of one of the owners came in and started doing homework in the waiting room and he was very nice also. When a teenager is pleasant and doing homework, you know the parents are great.

There seems to be a theme of issues with this shop and Living Social deals. I made an appointment a couple weeks ago and mentioned my voucher after being given a verbal quote. Upon arriving at the shop today I find out the glass still hadn’t arrived and am told the quote I was given already included my $ 100 off. I was in a bad place and needed the repair! Then another customer came in and was given her $ 100 Groupon discount. When I asked why she gets her discount but I’m being denied mine, I’m asked to leave. My car is brought forward missing a window and they refuse to finish it and honor the quote I was given on the phone.

So sorry I bought the Living Social voucher for an oil change. After trying to schedule an appointment on their online scheduler, which they were supposed to confirm and never did, and leaving 3 messages practically begging them to return my call so I could set up an appointment, I finally gave up and asked LS for a refund. They never returned any of my calls and they never answer their phone.

The crew at Quality Auto have been great to deal with when it comes to getting work done on my vehicles. Being a local business they have very good prices and are very insightful when it comes to figuring out issues with my car. They have helped me with everything from replacing windshield glass to full tune ups and I can trust them to get the job done right.
There can be a wait for service but its well worth it, plus I’d rather give my money to a local shop over some chain auto shop where your just another number.

I recommend avoiding this windshield installer. I brought my vehicle in for a new windshield, for what I was told would be APTech brand glass and matching the green tint at the top of my stock windshield. What they installed was a different brand, called Fuyao, and it was also the wrong tint (brown instead of green) so it didn’t match the other windows. They blamed it on their supplier, saying they sent them the wrong windshield.
They requested that I pay them now and then they’d fix it in a month when their supplier had the correct windshield in stock. No, thank you. I’m not going to pay for something until it’s done right. And suppose they had a similar mistake next month, then I’d be fighting with them to get my money back. In addition, their installer had left a couple of ½“x3″ globs of glue on the windshield and also on the trim, so that combined with installing an incorrect windshield, had me questioning their quality.
I had them put in the old windshield and I took it elsewhere.

In the recent bitter cold snap, a chip in my windshield expanded to a large horizontal crack across 80% of the glass. When I called Quality A&G, the receptionist was competent, helpful and friendly. She answered all my questions, explained the process and described the all-​inclusive costs. With a coupon, the estimate was approximately 20% below what I received from other businesses.
I had the last appointment on Friday afternoon. Nonetheless, Brad was quick, competent, enthusiastic and thorough. He was very customer friendly and took time to explain the process before he started the work. When the job was completed, he described what was done and what I needed to do over the next couple of days to ensure the replacement glass completed the attachment process. Brad also made clear that if there were any questions or problems, he wanted to hear about and resolve them. He explained the very good warranty on the work.
It was a completely satisfactory and high quality experience from a locally owned business. I highly recommend Quality Auto and Glass and Brad.
