RV Four Seasons

We are first-​time RV-​ers and our purchase experience with Four Seasons was great! We really like Jeff and the overall experience exceeded our expectations. We bought late in 2013 and took the RV out a few times then brought it back in for warranty work, winterization, etc. We drove up to pick it up, but when went to hook up, discovered someone had completely ripped the pigtail out then just stuffed it back in so it appeared attached still. It was a Saturday so service was closed and we drove back without getting it. They did repair it and reimburse gas so we felt that they did make it right.
Then we had a bad hailstorm and had some insurance work to be performed. We waited till the end of season and took it in to be winterized and repaired. We went to pick it up and found out that they had neglected to winterize it and there was freeze damage to the shower, kitchen faucet, etc. They had replaced fixtures and repaired damage but I was disturbed that I only found out about the damage at pick-​up three months later, no one had bothered to tell us when it happened. Rita in service was great (she always was) and made sure it was repaired. Later, we took the coach in to de-​winterize and they didn’t discover any issues, then left on our first trip for that season. We stopped for the night in Kansas and lo and behold, no hot water. We had to call a mobile repairman who replaced some part and fixed it quickly for $ 100. At this point, we weren’t really pleased with issues at Four Seasons Service, but still had faith in them. We came back again in October 2015 to have the front end cap replaced (warranty work) and have the rear jacks checked. We were hearing grinding noises and the rear wheels were being pulled off the ground when we used the auto-​leveler. They had our RV for EIGHT MONTHS. When we picked up we were told all was good, they re-​calibrated the autoleveller and there was nothing wrong with the jacks. We put the RV in storage for a bit then took it out for a two-​week trip. Unfortunately, I assumed it was all fixed and gave a great rating ont he survey we were sent after the repair. I wish I could recall that, hence this review. Before leaving town, we used a local campground the first night to clean it out, load it up, buy groceries, etc. We went to auto-​level for the FIRST time since the «repair» and it won’t auto level. We also hear all kinds of grinding again with the rear jacks. We attempt to bring the jacks back up and they won’t retract. After a few hours of trying to get them to operate we call the service desk. We talk for an hour with a technician who has us re-​calibrate the auto leveler again, this doesn’t help. I call back and talk to Dolores. She says all the service folks are gone and tries for about 30 minutes to help, but it was very frustrating because she kept repeating the same questions and it was apparent she wasn’t listening to anything I told her. I explained my frustration that my husband and I had put in for these two weeks of vacation leave the previous November and that now we were stuck and couldn’t even load the fifth wheel back on the truck since the jacks were grounded in. I felt that that Four Seasons carried the fault because they had our coach EIGHT MONTHS and told us it was repaired. Obviously they didn’t even check their work since it failed on first attempt to use. I was frustrated because I felt our anticipated vacation was ruined but Dolores could care less and was impatient. She finally said our only option was to call a mobile repair. I asked who they have an account with, assuming they would pay since it was their fault. She said she had to call the manager to see what to do about paying and that SHE would call us right back. About 10 minutes later we missed a call from a blocked number but assumed it wasn’t her since the number was blocked. After an hour had passed and no call from Dolores, we called back. Dolores had GONE HOME FOR THE DAY! The service manager was extremely nice and called her — he told us she said the blocked call was another technician she had calling us. Not sure I understand that since she told us we needed to have a mobile repair come out. Also not sure why she didn’t CALL US BACK and say she was just having another technician call us. We called a mobile technician, and two weeks later our coach is still at another repair facility because the jacks motor was fried– so no vacation. The real indicator of service though is the fact that come Monday morning Dolores (nor anyone else) called us to find out how it all worked out Saturday. That MIGHT have salvaged us as customers but NO call, NO contact since. Sorry Jeff, we like you a lot but there is no way we will be buying that RV for our daughter and son-​in-​law there, and there is no way we are getting that upgraded coach next year that we talked about. We just can’t imagine having to deal with service issues, or having to be «helped» by Dolores again.

We just purchased our 2^nd Rv here and first our salesman was not the sharpest guy there however it was his first sale or so we were told. He took us around and showed us a few trailers we settled on one and went to make a deal. While he was away I pulled up there web site and found our trailer with the same I’d as the one we picked priced at $ 24k the sales guy comes back with our trade values and a new trailer price of $ 32k! After I corrected him again he said he was new but the manager was not and knew the sale price. This went back and forth as they do each time wanting something more but finally reached a accord and closed the deal.
We scheduled our pick up and paper work on Friday April 29 at 9am. It was rainy snowy day. We arrived with our trade but it was left up to me to unhook it and secure it in the lot. Had to wait 20 plus minutes then Tyler took us around and showed us our Rv and features. The salesman popped in and said his congrats and never saw him again. Tyler did a good job however he forgot to give us a jack handle for our Jack pads so I’ll have to make a trip over to get one. We finished the walk through and had to wait another 20 mins for the paper work process to start. Tim was very clear and was great we asked about gift cards or any gifts for buying but they don’t offer any? Our last Rv we bought a used one and got a $ 100 gift credit at there parts counter! You would think a new Rv would be just as good to get the same or better? Anyway Once we finished it felt different like we got your money now you don’t really matter to us anymore. Like we were invisible! We fell for the warranty and they had to take the trailer back to perform what ever they do for the interior portion so we waited and waited until I went out and saw our trailer was back out front. They finally gave us the rest of the paper work registration and old plate from our trade. So I go get my truck and back up to the trailer but you guessed it not a soul came over to help hook it up you know it was raining I looked up and saw the sales man watching and others as I did it myself with my wife and did my own walk around and got in the truck and left. It’s been 5 days now maybe it’s too soon but you would think we would get a call a follow up how did we do call? Well I’m waiting to have my views heard so if any of you at Rv 4 Seasons read this and want me happy you know what to do my 2 Star rating could go up or down more.
I’d recommend this business but only for there quantity of products not the customer service or sales team. Do your research and pull up there website before agreeing to there price! It almost cost us $ 8K!!! 4 seasons you have my info on file if you dare I’ll see you soon for my jack handle!

If I had to do it all over again I would not shop here. Started off poorly when all the sales people were busy. I got rushed out to the lot by a condescending sales manager that acted like the work of showing RV’s was beneath him. He showed me one RV in which I was interested and then he turned up the pressure. All the typical greasy sales tactics…“act now it won’t be here when you come back,” we can make this deal happen today and have you in a camper next week.” I liked the RV, price seemed pretty good. I decided to buy the RV and the shady sales manager turns me over to one of the sales guys. A sales guy that clearly wasn’t familiar with the unit. Be wary of the fine print and back of the napkin math these guys attempt to get you to buy. Want that low low price… well they’ll make it back on the interest for the financing you’ll have to secure through the dealer in order to get the «finance discounts.» This was not disclosed until far too late in the process in my opinion. Next problem arose with finance department dropping repeated balls. Justin didn’t follow through with getting me the info I needed for insurance in the time he committed to. Justin did not get paperwork over to service (according to service manager) so we couldn’t close on the RV for another full week. Justin proceeded to pat himself on the back for lowering my interest rate. He proceeded to say that he rolled the interest savings into a BS warranty coverage. He got very pushy, almost argumentative when I told him I would not be opting for the add-​on warranty. The service manager was difficult and frankly not customer focused at all. He was more concerned about clocking out at 5 pm than he was about accommodating the customer. Based on my work schedule, etc he was potentially going to have to stay until 5:30 and he was clearly unnerved by this request. The last bit was minor but essentially iced this cake with respect to this transaction. There was no starter kit. We got a sewer pipe that the parts guy admitted was garbage as he tried to get me to upgrade. Many dealers will provide a kit that includes a water hose, sewer hose, water regulator, TP, etc. The service department makes it clear that they expect one to submit to gouging and buy your hitch, brake controller, and apprentice everything else one needs to start RVing from them. When they get wind that you already own or will purchase elsewhere it really seemed like their tone changed to a negative one. The backup camera the service dept installed is not working correctly but I don’t think I have the stomach to go back. The final Walkthrough was nothing but a huge sales pitch for more parts. If we weren’t in such a pinch to have an RV before a couple trips we had on the calendar, I would have walked on day one. If you value customer service and good, honest, hard-​working folks then I suggest you keep looking.

BUYER BEWARE (Especially if you’re a new RV owner)
My husband and I are first time RV owners and we purchased a 2^nd generation trailer from RV Four Seasons. We could already tell that we weren’t working with the most competent of people when the salesperson laying out the terms of our financing plan said «don’t worry about how long the loan is, that doesn’t matter» ummm. what? that’s like one of the most important aspects of a loan! That was a little scary to hear. When we were finalizing the purchase and picking up the trailer, the financing guy made like 3 mistakes that my husband had to correct (1 of which would have been detrimental to the dealership!!)
Anyway. the absolute worst mistake they made was when setting up our tow hitch with a ball size that was too small. Again, my husband and I being totally new to this, and never having been in a vehicle that towed something like this, were completely unaware of how wrong this was (and incredibly dangerous). We drove the trailer all the way home without incident. However, when taking the trailer on our FIRST trip, we went over some small bumps and our trailer UNCOUPLED. We skidded a good 50 feet at 20 miles an hour. Luckily everyone in the vehicle was fine, but the trailer took a little beating. It didn’t take my husband and I long to realize what happened. Soon after we realized was a terrible mistake that was, we were grateful that nothing worse happened, nor at highway speeds. We also realized what a HUGE mistake it was to rely on the dealership for something so fundamentally important.
We have called them since the incident, and they seem sorry? They realized their grave mistake and have towed our trailer away. I am nervous to get it back…

Update: The owner contacted us and was apologetic and sent a check to cover the inconvenience, which was appreciated. Talked to the sales manager recently and he seemed to really care to win our patronage back. We shall see since we do plan on buying a larger camper.
I had no issue with the salesman. My issue is that they sell used campers without thoroughly inspecting them then it’s a huge pain in the ass to get things fixed after that. We bought a 2 year old camper from them. Got it out for it’s first camping trip, realized the black tank was half full of someone else’s crap and pee. Then the toilet valve let that lovely stinky mixture back up every time it flushed. My husband had to fix the toilet himself. They gave him the parts to do it because the service department couldn’t get it in to fix it for 3 weeks and we had camping trips planned. Also on the first trip, the tongue jack died and we had to buy a new one and put it on so we could get on the road. They did reimburse for about half the cost of it. Not all of it because they argued they were open and could’ve replaced it. It shouldnt ha e happened in the first place. We also dropped the camper off to have the Teflon coating applied that we paid for, and a week later it was still not applied.

DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICE DEPT. I brought in my brand new motorhome for warranty work and it took them 106 DAYS! to complete the repair and to winterize it. I called numerous times to check on the status as well as complained directly to the manufacturer. I later found out they broke the housing on my water system! This service shop is incompetent and has horrible service. NEVER GO HERE!

Chance was excellent on our walk through. He guided me through using the brake system very well on our test tow. Sometimes communication seemed to lapse between sales and service, but overall pretty good. Overall they’re definitely one of the better dealers, I visited several other dealers, and they came off as high pressure or indifferent. I didn’t get that with RV Four Seasons. I happened to know what I was looking for but I did sometimes get the sense from sales that I was being told what I wanted to hear when I asked a question they didn’t know. All said, I’ll definitely return.

old fashion pushy salesman. False statements and pushy tactics, claiming that i have to hurry to buy the RV on their lot because other people will take it. my questions were met with false information and refuse to back up their false claims. over inflated prices and claims that their RV on the lot has items that no one else in the country has. Pushy and rude and treat patrons like we are suckers.
