I am a long-​time customer of Stat Automotive. Walt is the last of the honest mechanics, and if he recommends fixing it, it definitely needs fixing. I’ve had a lot of cars over the last 15 years and Walt has kept them all running top-​notch. His new location on 29th has that great old-​time garage feel to it.
Being a long time customer, I have seen Walt go through his share of employees, and I can honestly say that the guy working there right now is great. I wish I knew his name to give him a shout-​out. I hope he sticks around.

I’ve been going to stat automotive for the last 15 years Walt has been amazing. Several years ago he replace my brakes and I had problems with the brakes. I returned the car he determine the brakes were defective and fix the brakes without charging me or haggling me over the additional repair. He truly offers haggle free repairs at reasonable prices and stands behind his work!

I don’t normally use these kinds of sites, but I had to tell everyone how great Walt is over at STAT Automotive. I have been doing business with him for 15+ years and he’s always been honest and does great work. Recently I had him replace a rack and pinion for me and he received two rebuilt units from his parts supplier that did not work correctly. He went to bat for me with his supplier on the bad units and got them to warranty them. How many dealers and auto repair chain stores have you seen do that? Thank you Walt for the great work you’ve done for me all these years.
