Crossings at Danada

The apartments and grounds are beautiful. However. they will tell you anything you want to hear so that you rent. Once your in, every person there will tell you something different. Management is unorganized and moody. If you have a concern, lets hope the person in the office is having a good day. Lost mail, ignored calls and emails, lets not forget how maintenance walks in your place without knocking. I would be careful if you are alone especially females.
I am very disappointed with them.

I’ve been living here (1BR) for about 1.5 years and have been with both owners (AMLI & Crossings). When the residents were notified of the change in owners, things were a bit bumpy; however, that being said, I feel things are continually improving and the office staff listens to the residents and have made major (needed) improvements. If I had any work orders or questions for the office staff, they were very polite and responsive. Rent is easy to pay if you sign up for their online portal. And having lived in apartments for about 5 years, this has been my favorite just because it is so quiet. There was only one time I heard my neighbors — because they were having a party — but even then I could barely hear them. There may be a difference with 2−3BR apartments with loud kids, but we don’t have any families in our building.
I literally have no complaints and I really like these new owners compared to AMLI, granted it was rough in the beginning, but I think that will only get better with time
Edit: I emailed the staff with a complaint about 2 weeks ago — office staff never emailed back and it seems like they have not fixed the problem. Management, please if a renter emails you, please have the courtesy to respond back no matter what the outcome. I feel like the issue was just ignored.

I moved in to Crossings at Danada about three months ago and so far has been a great decision. From my very first call to come check out the apartments, the office staff was friendly, prompt and very personable. They were the first to return my phone call and schedule a tour and made move in effortless. After seeing the renovated apartment and comparing it to any in the area, I knew this would be a great home. The location is amazing, walking distance to coffee, dinner, movies & grocery. You can get to Yorktown, OB shopping center and the highway in minutes. The management company seems to be making some really great updates with new club houses and constantly working on the rounds to update and make beautiful. I would and have recommended this place to several friends and family!

This place has gone downhill with the new owners! They never answer the phones, you always have to leave messages that takes them forever to respond to. We had a leaking ceiling in our babies room and they never came to repair it after multiple phone calls. We also had mold growing in our unit from a leaking dishwasher. When we had issues, they said we had to go by our AMLI lease since we signed with AMLI before the buy out. We had plan on transferring to another AMLI property mid way through our lease, which was in our lease but they said they wouldn’t honor that part of the lease. They used AMLI’s lease when it was convenient for them, and Crossings at Danada’s lease when that was better for them. We ended up paying rent for 3 months after we moved out because of it. They had our forwarding address and my cell phone and said they would send the deposit to my forwarding address. I got a call today from a creditor saying I owed $ 107 to Crossings at Danada. They had sent a bill to my new address and put the wrong name on it so it was undeliverable. You would think they would be able to copy a name properly that was on the lease. They gave my phone number to a creditor but didn’t have the decency to call me themselves saying the address didn’t work?! That just shows what kind of company you are dealing with. This place is completely disorganized since the transition. The package tracking system if you aren’t home when UPS comes is terrible, so I don’t know why I thought the returning of a rent deposit check would be any better. They lost packages, don’t return phone calls, don’t fix problems in the unit and have loud construction at all hours of the day. I would skip this place.
The location is great but that’s about it.

I am pleased that Crossings bought AMLI!
They have spent the last few months on renovations and now that they are almost done, it’s looking very nice.
Lived here for several years and it’s the best location in Danada!

I loved living here – WHEN IT WAS OWNED BY AMLI.
Once they sold to Crossings, everything went downhill. The staff in the office are by far some of the rudest leasing staff I’ve ever encountered. The office lost our delivered packages, lost one of our rent checks, and lost our letter saying we were leaving. At one point I tried calling the office 6 times over the course of a week, I got either a voicemail or no answer every time. Add to that loud neighbors who have parties, blast their bass, and scream at their children and you’ve got yourself a terrible combination.
I would not recommend anyone live here!

I lived here for a few years (I moved in back with it was owned by AMLI) and once Crossings took over the property, it became such a mess. Management was unorganized and I immediately started having problems. There was lost checks, lost mail, maintenance issues ignored, calls never returned, parking issues, noise problems… things that had never been an issues anywhere else Ive lived. There was a revolving door of staff, so whenever I went in to deal one of the many issues, I never dealt with the same person twice and 90% of the staff was downright rude. When my lease was up, I couldn’t wait to get out of there, but even that process was littered with issues and problems. I DO NOT recommend renting here.

I have been living here for 4 years. When these properties was managed by amli it was great but not anymore since crossing took over. Absolutely rude and unfriendly staff not professional. They make lots of mistakes. I am glad that i am moving out
