Unilocal says that this Red Robin is closed. I am not surprised if it is. I went there with my family, and the service was non-existent. The bread was so dry I could have used it as a dehumidifier in my basement. Do not go here as it does not represent the chain. I have had much better food and service at other locations.

Sadly this place is now CLOSED for good at this location. It was a great place to take small children out to dinner… they had good burgers and amazing onion rings. There is still a location in Bloomingdale and another in Warrenville by Cantera. I asked one of the servers why they were closing as it was always busy and they said the property owner had wanted them to sign a 10 year lease.

Burgers that actually look like the photos in the menu. Endless steak fries. Good service. What else is there?

My husband and I like to shop around the Danada Square area, so we very often will stop into the Red Robin for a quick bite. Their food is pretty good, and I’ve never had bad service… until yesterday. The restaurant was packed, and I will give the waitstaff a break when I see it this chaotic. A person can only do so much. Our waitress however, was not overworked… she was just rude. The waitstaff were running around like mad while our waitress was too busy flirting with a table of guys. I ordered the grilled chicken caprese platter. What I got was some sandwich. Not even close. I sat, and sat, and sat… trying to get the waitress’ attention from the table of guys. Finally, a manager stopped by. He brought me the right plate, but by that time my husband was completely finished with his meal. So much for a quick bite. After I get the right plate of food, our waitress stops by and stares at my plate. Waitress: «Did I order you the wrong thing?». Me: «Yes.» Waitress: «Oh. Well, can’t do anything about it now.», and dumps the check on the table. Before we left, I had to hit the bathroom. My husband said the waitress came back to grab our money, and said to him«Oh, are you still here?». Yes, but your tip has magically vanished. Needless to say, we will be eating at Chili’s or somewhere else next time we go shopping at Danada Square.

Haven’t been to Red Robin in forever. Casual, family friendly, nice staff, wide variety on their menu, outdoor seating(weather permitting) Food: Great tower of onion rings(the thick onion rings with a crunchy batter), Terryaki Chicken Sandwich(a little messy, but worth it!), Crispy chicken salad, and just about any burger is pretty good as well. Drinks: lots of variety in smoothy, shakes, and ‘mocktails’

so i have been to other red robins before and enjoyed my meal. this time around it wasn’t so much the meal, but the service that was lacking. first our drinks came up and we especially weak. when i pay $ 7 for a drink i want to taste the booze in there. after ordering dinner our serve forgot to bring our soup. we decided not to say anything. a few minutes later the waiter comes up to our group of four with only two dinners. he acts perplexed and confused and says that the other half of our party’s food was brought out to another table that ordered the same thing. so there we left sitting and waiting for the friends food for about ten minutes. after dinner we mention that he never brought out the soup. he says oops and offers to give us our soup to go. the food was what i would expect from a red robin, but the service was absolutely horrible. will not be going back to this location again.

Yummy… Good french fry seasoning(which i pile on my food obsesively.) The burgers are really good, there are TVS all over the walls. Its a good restraunt, but its not that healthy, or amazingly delicous. Its worth it to stop by if you’ve never been, but i dont see many people being«in the area» of the slowly emptying town square.

I’m a long time fan of the Robin, but a year or so ago they discontinued the pot roast burger. What were they thinking? That thing was awesome! The roast was well cooked, the horseradish sauce and onions all crammed on that bun snuggled in a bed of fries. I’ve even talked to the manager and while he was friendly, he referred me to «corporate». Yeah sure, one more faceless corporation sticking it to the little guy. If they can arrange to have a minimum wage worker dress up in a RR costume(1pm-3pm on Saturday) to entertain the kids, you’d think they could have the post roast burger on special once in a while ala McDonalds and the Ribwich, errr McRib. mmmmm sandwich in which meat from an unidentified animal is processed and molded into the shape of ribs.

I have been here numerous times when I am craving a burger with fries and not wanting fast food. It is especially good if you like french fries, because they serve unlimited steak fries with delicious seasoning with every cheeseburger. The cheeseburgers are quite delicious. They are unique as they are made with many different toppings and combinations, hence the«gourmet» cheeseburger description. This place deserves only three stars because the atmosphere is very obnoxious. It is circus themed and obviously oriented towards children. Do not come here if you are looking for a relaxing dinner, you will hear loud children and families and may be disturbed by the robin mascot that walks around with balloons. But, if you do not care about this, you’re very hungry for a delicious burger and unlimited fries, and you aren’t watching calories/fat, this is your place.

Very friendly, very efficient servers. Burgers are delicious, and reasonably priced. The bottomless french fries and speckled lemonades are what really sell me at this place

«I am sitting north of the white tiger.» This is one of the texts I’d get from my friend as we regularly visited Red Robin for our Saturday-evening burger-fests. We actually began to know most of the waiters by name. So it’s good enough that I keep obsessively coming back, and I have been for, wow, roughly 10 years or more. But not every Saturday. That would be a tad weird. The burgers are awesome. My favorite is the guacamole burger, and my friend religiously gets the Royal Red Robin burger which is sweet, delicious lardy goodness on a bun. It included a fried egg, bacon, and hamburger, along with other delightful things I can’t remember. I also like the Whiskey River burger. Last time i went, I ordered a new burger that came with sauteed onions and guacamole, too. I forget the name, but it was delicious. I love their fries, and they’ve recently improved on them by offering garlic fries. These are a little more greasy, and include lost of garlic, and I think some parmesan cheese. The garlic fries are fifteen times more awesome than the regular ones. Fries are bottomless. If you’re into the non-alcoholic drinks, try their fruit lemonades. Steeply priced, but they have actual fruit lolling around at the bottom of the glass. It’s fun to try to suction them up using your straw as a little Dyson. There are some good fancy alcoholic mixed and frozen drinks, though I don’t think I’ve ever had one there. My friends seem to love ‘em. Desserts, eh. The apple crisp thing is pretty tasty. Nothing truly gooey and chocolaty, which is my big thing. The servers are generally pretty nice, although I feel sorry for them having to sing relentless rounds of «Happy Birthday,» to all the kids, while maintaining looks of pained excitement. Décor is fun and festive and partylike, with carousel animals strategically located around the room. Hence, my friend meeting me north of the tiger. Like I know which side is north when I’m inside… Drawbacks: It’s more steeply-priced than most burger joints, but I feel it’s worth it. Some non-alcoholic drinks are roughly $ 4(though they are bottomless and very tasty, especially their fruit lemonades). It gets fairly crowded, especially with kids and tweens having their birthday parties. Those kiddies know how to create a ruckus. In order to avoid waiting for a seat, seat yourself in the bar area if you’re old enough to do so. Nice place :0)

It had been quite a while since I last ate here. They have changed their menu with lots of old favorites, and some new enticing additions. This place has some of the best burgers around and their pricing is very reasonable. Try the new bottomless drinks, yummy. Everything was as good as I remembered. Server was extremely pleasant. I’ll go back.

The whiskey river burger with a Boca patty is one of the tastiest meals I could ever recommend to any vegetarian :] It’s awesome! I would rate this as 5 stars BUT and there is a BIGBUT… I had their Caesar salad and it was HORRIBLE. For an $ 8.00 salad I expect something great but this was crap… nothing but a handful of lettuce, bummer!(that’s what you get for ordering salad at a burger joint I suppose)…and the other reason they don’t get five stars is because the staff is just ok, I really liked one of our servers but most of them have the personality of a door knob.

Red Robin– what can I say? I like Red Robin in general like the new one in Oswego but the Wheaton Red Robin is gross. The service was good except we never got a refill of drinks but the girl was nice. The food was way overpriced. My husbands burger that was ordered as medium well was raw inside. The fries are disgusting and my salad had hair in it. I will never go back in there again. I will however go to the one in Oswego!!!

great place to take kids, with very attentive service. i always try one of the ‘look at me” burgers, usually topped with a dozen eggs, or maybe a slab of bacon… it’s a gross demonstration of culinary hedonism, but they actually taste pretty good… always order the fries cooked extra as well. good shakes, and they do serve beer, wine and spirits. i think it’s the perfect spot for the soccer mommies and daddies to take junior and a few of his playmates after a big win.

Food is pretty darn good! $ 13 bucks for a freakin’ hamburger, drink and a side is pretty steep though. I pay that much when I go out for sushi.

Quite pricey but they had boca burgers, and getting a child vegetarian to eat out is hard. My husband said his burger was ok, but not worth the cost when held up to the standard of Red Door, or meat from Whole Foods. The atmosphere was great though and entertaining for my son. I enjoyed my meal, just wasn’t satisfied with bang for the buck, or meal cost $ 45 when all said and done.

I used to love Red Robin too but the burgers and drinks are now way overpriced, almost $ 10 for a burger, $ 5 for a beer and anywhere from $ 8-$ 11 for a mixed drink. Even the cokes are almost $ 3. Kids do love it, but if you don’t have kids with you the crying and screaming become grating. My 14-year-old now picks other places because the noise gets to him.

A great place to go with kids! They are famous for their burgers and free refills on FRENCHFRIES! What kid won’t munch on those? This is a burger place and the burgers are HUGE! If you don’t want a burger, the salads and chicken dishes are good, but not the chili. This place is noisy with a few tvs for watching sporting events and they will do that obnoxious clapping and singing of Happy Birthday. So if you are looking for a quiet place to eat, this isn’t it. If you want a family friendly place with quick waiters, go!
