A hidden gem! Cannot wait to see the finished product, but still plenty to do for toddlers.

This place is so secluded and tucked away I would’ve never found it if it weren’t for Brittany K. leading the way! It’s off of Navistar Drive with a little parking lot for the park itself. All you see from the parking lot is trees and forest. To the East there are baseball and soccer fields that follow a winding rock path. To the West there is a paved path leading to a bridge that goes over a little creek, you then find yourself at a cute little playground perfect for the little ones. It is perfect for kids 2 – 5 years old. I wouldn’t bring the older kids, which is why it doesn’t get 5 stars from me. I think they plan to build more onto the park, if it is for older kids, this place will be perfect for families with kids of all ages to enjoy. There are places to dig in the dirt, horse statues you can«pet»(like my daughter loved doing today) or climb on. There is also a music area with a large xylophone and drums. The playground itself isn’t very tall which makes me so happy because I can let my 2 year old run around without me tailing behind her. She loves playgrounds but the larger ones are too much for her on her own still. There are plenty of picnic tables and a great awning for shade. Next time we are bringing lunch and having daddy meet us since it is close to his work. There are some people walking around on their breaks from work in the area as well. So I will need to explore the walking trails next time as well.
