History

Established in 2011.

Smile More Dental, the doctors, and the staff are committed to oral health and rooted in the community. We are capable of providing most dental services at one location. No bouncing from specialist to specialist. Two dentists in a practice has the large advantage of having two doctors reviewing your case if it becomes necessary. Additionally, we have a wide variety of office hours and try to accommodate every circumstance.

Business Owner

Growing up in small town Rock Island Illinois, Dr. Sami Diab went on to pursue his love for computers and graduated from the University of Illinois College of Engineering where he obtained a Bachelor’s of Computer Engineering. He then earned both his Bachelors of Dental Sciences degree and Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Illinois College of Dentistry. He is currently a proud member of several dental organizations, including the Chicago Dental Society (CDS), the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), the Illinois State Dental Society (ISDS), and the American Dental Association (ADA).

With the goal of spreading good oral health to his patients, Dr. Diab founded Smile More Dental in 2011. Since then he has established a tight knit team of doctors and staff that share his vision and possess the same passion and skill in dentistry as he does. His love, care, and dedication to his patients has allowed Smile More Dental to flourish and treat nearly 10,000 patients

I have gone to Smile More Dental a few times now for dental care. The office is clean, and the Dentist is very good. I do not care for the policy of requesting a «down payment» prior to receiving service. I have never had this request before from any previous dental or medical care.

Needed a new dentist after moving to the area and got a mailer advertising this place so thought I would give it a try. I set up an appointment for a regular cleaning. The office is nice, modern and clean and everything, but I was not impressed at all with the services. I didn’t feel like they cleaned my teeth. They hardly spent any time polishing my teeth and felt like I could have done a more thorough job myself just with a toothbrush. I would not recommend this place. Look somewhere else.

Read the reviews before you go, they try to get you to think you need every procedure possible. I went in for a free consult on what I was quoted over the phone of $ 250 — $ 400 to extract a cracked tooth and left with an estimate of over $ 13,000 (this is supposedly a discounted rate) for work «that needs to be done». My regular dentist and 3 other dentists I have been to didn’t notice this «needed work». The dentist seems rushed and only wants to make money off of you. The only good thing about this place are the ladies t the front desk.

I went to Smile More for a cleaning/​exam. The office was nice/​clean/​friendly and the atmosphere was trustworthy. That’s the end of the pros list. On the con list for Smile More is that they’re con artists through and through, they quoted me an inaccurate number of cavities and then tried to get me to pay up front for any fillings I might get in the future. Also, the teeth cleaning was terrible (they did it in less than two minutes) and my teeth were still kind of gross afterwards.
Don’t be fooled here! While the staff is nice and the office is clean their ultimate goal is to get you to have as many procedures as possible here on imaginary dental problems. They’re not a reliable or trustworthy establishment for dentistry.
