I called AB Edwards for what I thought was a roof repair due to ice damming. The quote they returned was for a total roof replacement, which initially surprised me. But my skepticism was easily overcome because they shared with me all the photos they took of the rest of my roof, and the quote was reasonable considering all the work that was proposed. When the crew was here, they completed the work efficiently, cleaning up well each day, and also sweeping the ground at the end with a magnet to «catch» any stray shingle tacks. I had many questions, and Andy (owner) and Mark (COO) were very responsive and gave me lots of information about the materials, the process, and answered my more technical questions about proper roof ventilation. The office staff also is really friendly. It’s clear they care about the job they are doing and the customer’s needs.

Had over half my windows replaced with the help of Ken Scott. He took us to the Pella showroom and went over all of the details for our new windows. He made sure the measurements were perfect so that the replacement windows would be an easy install. Everything went smoothly and ahead of schedule. He followed up with us and wasn’t hesitant to make changes to the schedule when we had an emergency arise.
Ken also went above and beyond making sure that the windows we were not replacing would be like new by doing a maintenance program. He gave us options for saving money.
The people who he brought to the house were great. Very dependable and they did great work.
The painters he recommended did a fabulous job. Very neat and helpful

Ken Scott from their window division did a great job explaining our options for a dozen windows and a new door on our sun porch. He saw things that no other estimator even looked at or noticed at all in our rather unique situation. We love our new windows They look and function great, no more leaks, no more snow inside during blizzards, etc. And very competitively priced. Highly recommended.

They replaced our skylights, rebuilt our brick parapet, and refinished our roof. The home inspector made special note of the excellent quality of the work. Very reasonable price. They were able to come out for an estimate quickly, and did a thorough job in the timeframe they had specified. Great job!

We had to redo flat roof after the previous contractor did the worst job ever and didn’t honor his warranty (Lindholm roofing). AB Edwards was a bit pricey, but you get what you paid for — prompt and courteous service, and professional installation. Hopefully this had solved the issue with water intrusion into our kitchen and laundry room! We will use AB Edwards for all of our exterior needs.

We used A.B. Edward to replace our roof last week. We chose them over the 5 roofers we got quotes from. They weren’t the cheapest one– they offered the best service and seemed the most knowledgeable and trustworthy. They were so helpful during the planning process– they referred us to a roof they had completed nearby with the same color we chose so we could check it out on a larger scale, the contract and deposit process was easy, and they gave us great tips beforehand like removing the wall hangings on the 2^nd floor, «just in case.» Their workers were timely, friendly, and cleaned up after themselves. They were great to deal with! Overall, a great experience! We highly recommend A.B. Edward!

Quality and professional are the two words that best describe AB Edwards. I just spent over $ 18,000 with them for downspouts, gutters, new roofs on house, detached garage and attached garage. They also rebuilt my chimney. It was a lot of money but Andy, Marcin and their team were so professional and true craftsmen. Marcin and I kept in contact over 5 months because the polar vortex didn’t allow them to work. They were also very conscientious of the weather this spring so they weren’t working in any rain. I’m so glad I went with them. Their prices were comparable to other companies I contacted. I have the most stunning roof in the neighborhood I must say.

I can’t believe I’m the first to review AB Edwards. This company is an exterior construction professional. They redid my metal roof in WI after the other unscrupulous and incompetent roofer named Preferred roofing in WI messed it up. This was done probably 5 years ago and have not an issue since. My metal roof should last 50 years so that’s what I’m hoping. They also installed my wood decking there and did a great job. I worked with Bo, who I think is the owner. He walked me through the big renovation from start to finish. Their prices are higher than your fly-​by-​night roofers but fair for professionals in the industry. I’ve actually learned from this company to pay a little more if needed to get it done right the first time so it won’t cost me more in the long run with cheaper and inferior companies.

I have used AB Edward for two different projects — to repair/​rebuild chimneys on my house and to repair roof damage due to recent storms. When they did the chimney, they worked cleanly, efficiently and the end result was great — the chimney’s looked like new without looking like they didn’t belong to the house (they matched the brick perfectly). Overnight, we could hear banging on the scaffolding and was concerned it was loose. I called and emailed the after hours services, and one of the owners called me back right away (within 30 minutes) and actually came to our house at midnight, climbed up the scaffolding in the dark and made sure it was secure. He spent at least 45 minutes checking the scaffolding and making sure it was tight. The entire job was done in time and for a reasonable price. It was a no-​brainer to call them when we needed roof work done. When they think they are going to be late to an appointment, they call. When they are on their way, they called to let me know. They are friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable. I highly
recommend this company and would use them again in the future. With the storms we’ve been having, it’s good to know I can call a company that will come and take care of my house!
