Protect-A-Bed

My rating and complaints are just like all the others… we were told that the manufacturers warranty was not valid and that the defects in the mattress cover were due to the way we washed it. I have asked numerous times for copies of the testing results that were used to determine we were at fault but have yet to receive documentation. Company is allowing $ 100 towards the cleaning of our mattress but that was only after we told them their response was unacceptable. The mattress pad caused yellow staining on our mattress and now the mattress warranty is void. With so many unsatisfied customers what other option do we have but to take them to small claims court? Reporting to better business bureau and have notified Mancini Mattresses about awful service from Protect-​A-​Bed.

Bought expansive mattress and this protection…
Protection failed. Called warranty.
Followed all rules (they have a lot of it
You have to respond within a week. Wash cover protector. Have recipe you bought it.
Write your name. Send cover back on your expanse. .and more) and one month later got mail. it’s probably due washing.. No coverage.. Really?
I inspect it myself before sending. It was look good and i did not see any holes .
If it was there defect and they keep coverage so you can’t do nothing. .
they just don’t want to cover.
DO NOT BUY THIS PROTECTION..

I bought this expensive mattress pad at the insistence of the mattress salesperson at American Mattress. He said that as long as my very expensive mattress was covered by this pad, it would be covered by the warranty. My 3 yrs old had a rather big accident and the mattress was SOAKED. I called to see what protect-​a-​bed would do for me, and since he had a small accident roughly a month earlier and it wet the bed (very little, so it was no big deal for me) and I didn’t call within 5 days, my warranty is voided. TERRIBLE customer service from people who do not stand behind their product. I could have gotten a cheaper mattress pad from Target that actually works.
