The other reviewer is right about the chicken vodka sub food coma. Should have cleared my schedule… Additionally their panini’s are huge!
Paulie G’s is a great stop for the glutton and for the fine diner. I like their sausage/​broccoli rabe appetizer and their chicken cutlet fresh mozzarella roasted peppers sandwich, both of which are very clean and flavorful.
From FB pictures, I can tell that the old man who used to run the shop really loved making pizza and made some great pizzas. I wish I had found this place when he was still active!

Ordered Paul’s lunch specials a number of times and everything was always delicious. Eggplant is always exceptional and noteworthy by anyone who I had recommended it to. Their various chicken sandwiches are my go to choice but hard to pick which I like best. So when I was looking to cater an office event and some9ne said Italian food is a must, Paul’s was my first choice. OMG was it good, the 34 people who attended all wanted to know where this awesome food came from. And let me tell you my group is hard to please. Half were vegetarians and half not. I ordered trays of chicken parm and chicken with lemon and caper sauce — my new favorite, it was truly to die for. We had baked ziti and a pasta Primavera. There were garlic knots, salad and a few pizzas. Everyone wanted the leftovers and the food so good that what leftovers there went fast. Mike delivered the food right on time and helped with the setup. Everything was piping hot and stayed that way. Thr catering prices were reasonable and the quality was outstanding. There were 2 dressings for the salad and extra red sauce for the ziti. Even the pizza was outstanding and those garlic knots were the first thing to disappear.
The birthday party was a huge success and the food played a big part of making it all come together. If you are looking to cater an party with Italian food in the Whippany area call Paul you will not regret it!

Visited tonight for the first time. Impressed with the makeover from the unattractive pizza place that was there. My granddaughter enjoyed the pasta fagioli and bruschetta. I had a delicious chicken panini. Saw another table with some yummy looking pizza. Definately will be back. Only negative was the temperature. It was very chilly.

Delicious food and very pleasant employees. Their pizza is brilliant with many options. Dining environment is pleasantly casual. Place is a little tough to find, but well worth the effort. Liked the food so much, that we are getting a catering order done from them for 60+ people.

I think the other reviewers must be friends of the owner. I ordered from here a few weeks ago, and my delivery took 75 min (Eat24 quoted 45 – 60 min). I didn’t mind the wait because they’re right up the road, but my food must have been in the car for most of that time. It was cold, stuck to the packaging, and tasted like they reheated something from the supermarket. Such a shame!

Excellent food! My family comes here several times a week and are never disappointed. Huge servings and everything his delicious!

About six months ago, I walked into the Paulie G’s Deli and I was complimenting them on how great their sandwiches were. One of the employees mentioned they had a pizzeria on the other side of Route 10.
From the first time I ate there I was hooked and became a loyal follower of Paulie G’s, even going as far as handing their menus to people I knew who lived in the area. Due to in large part to my efforts, my company orders from Paulie G’s on an almost weekly basis.
Their Grandma’s pie is dynamite and is always the first to disappear at a company meeting. The sauce is on point, and the mozzarella is high quality. Same goes for the Margherita pie.
Love the pizza, but this place has sandwiches in its DNA. Their veggie panini is healthy, but doesn’t seem like a compromise. The buffalo chicken sandwich isn’t heavy and smothered in blue cheese/​ranch unlike most other places yet maintains the heat. It’s about as nimble as a buffalo chicken sandwich gets.
The supernova of the sandwich menu is the Vodka Chicken Parm. Clear your schedule if you want to eat this thing, as you will enter a deep, happy carb coma. It’s covered in vodka sauce, cheese and delightful little prosciutto chips that melt straight into your arteries. Death by chicken parm is a good death.

First time ordering here with my coworkers. The margehrita pizza is to die for. Pretty close to a perfect pizza for me between crust, sauce and toppings. Antipasto is delicious as is the Cobb salad and California chicken panini. Highly recommend!

Here’s the Deal… This is their newest «Paulie G» location. It has a very nice décor. Good seating area with plenty of seating and TV’s… definitely looks bright and clean. So far I’ve only had 2 things, their Grilled Chicken Panini was really good. The bread had a great soft toasted crunch texture, the chicken was moist & the ingredients were fresh. Also I’ve had their pizza. I thought there sauce, cheese and toppings were good. The crust needed a little more flavor. Counter service was helpful & friendly with recommendations. They deliver which is nice! I’ll certainly give it another try!

My wife and I were excited to hear that the owner of our favorite local deli, Paulie G’s, opened a new pizzeria & bistro in town. Our first pizza, a prosciutto with caramelized onions, was outstanding and we will definitely be back again. In an area with lots of choices for Italian food, we rate Paulie’s right at the top. As with the deli, he always uses fresh, quality ingredients and consistently produces delicious results. We ordered take out, but we plan to try the indoor seating area next time. 5 Stars!
