The Whippany Railway Museum has been bringing to life the history of New Jersey’s railroads to the public since 1965. However, the Museum’s age belies its heritage. The Museum is built upon over 50 years of preservation experience.
The museum offers a unique gimps into what rail transportation was like in its early days. When it was more about the trip then the destination. When quality and comfort were the rule.
With our 15 excursion trains a year on select weekends, you too can see what it was like to travel via rail. We offer a fantastic and informative experience for young and old alike. Our museum is open on ride days and every Sunday from 12 noon to 4 pm from May to October.
Visit our website for more information or to order your tickets.
