I am a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Pembroke where I studied Mass Communications in Broadcasting with a minor in Media Integration. I worked extensively with UNCP on many different videography projects. I was Production Assistant to the chair of the Mass Communications department, which involved shooting B-​roll for the campus news, local events and organizations, and interviews. I then became Associate Producer and Lead Anchor of Carolina News Today, the news program of UNCP. This got my foot in the door to becoming Program Director of WNCP-​Radio: The Hawk, an online radio station in Pembroke.
