Bamboo House

I saw the great reviews of this place and had to check it out.
We get there and the room temp is cold, it is winter after all it should be warmer. We were seated but after a table had to be cleaned. Which was weird because there was 6 people dining in, you would think they would have bused by now. The table still had food on it after being wiped down and we had to ask for another wipe down.
The menu was intriguing and had lots of options. I had the spicy chicken and the other patron I was with had the beef low mien.
We decided on the calamari for an appetizer… ordered, then were told later they ran out.
Despite all the seeming negatives, the service was solid and the entrees were phenomenal. There is definitely more things to try.
Later in the meal we used the rest rooms to which there was no toilet paper and there was no soap.
I would recommend eating at this place HOWEVER I certainly would order via takeout and skip dining in.

The food is always great. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is pleasant. I try to visit once a week and have never been disappointed. I just wish they were open for lunch during the week.

Wanted to check this place out because of the high review ratings. Walked in and was surprised how. If this place is! Decode is cozy the staff nice and there is a full bar. I ordered the spicy chicken wings, cream cheese wantons and phở. Everything was really good. I fox with this place. This is the spot if you’re looking for Asian food. 4 stars because they didn’t have all the things I need to put into my phở.

A hidden gem. Good food, great presentation. Friendly staff that was always on top of everything. Restaurant is spacious and clean.

Tried this place for the first time today. The portion sizes were bigger than I expected. The food was flavorful. The server was very friendly and she refilled our drinks right away. The only reason I’m giving it a 4 out of 5 is because I saw a few spiders by our seat (we were seated on a booth) and there were flies which I found very disturbing. The server apologized when we told her about it. But other then that we were satisfied with the food.

I love a place that i don’t have to try so hard to enjoy some great food. Food is spot on, staff is friendly, and the place is cozy.
I stop by the restaurant at least once a week to satisfy my cravings for authentic vietnamese food and have not been disappointed with the food or service.
My favorite dish is their soy glazed lamb chops. I can eat that everyday! They had it as a dinner special once, but I usually let them know ahead of time and they usually can accommodate the request. Also, love their spring rolls and phở.

Great new Asian restaurant in White Bear. Service was the best. Food was excellent. Had the seasame shrimp, eight big shrimp, bell pepper, onion. Great sauce. Wife had beef and potato which was a sliced beef with fresh made potato chips covered in a beef sauce. She said she would have licked the plate clean if we hadn’t been out! We’ll be back.

Great food, clean, nice ambiance. Welcome to the neighborhood! The phở was an 8. The grilled shrimp Thai noodle salad was a 9. Great service too!

Fantastic, we’ve enjoyed everything we’ve ordered and have been back 3 times already. The food is fresh, richly flavored and really something special. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the owner/​chef was very fun and interesting to talk with. We ordered phở which was the best, we also loved the potstickers.
