Jimmy was very professional from the introduction all the way to completion of this project. He was able to schedule a site visit and kept me informed concerning time of arrival. Once on site he was able to give me a quote and schedule the work. He arrived with his crew on time (again keeping me informed of time of arrival) and was able to complete the job in no time. I will def recommend this company and will use their services again in the near future.

I have used A Man With A Van for so many things: Moving from one house to another, moving into and out of a nursing home, moving into and out of storage, moving an office, moving stuff inside a house from room to room, rubbish removal and removing an old, rotted shed.
In every instance Jimmy’s crew showed up on time, did the work efficiently, and left. They always charge a fair and firm price.
When they removed the shed, which was dangerously rotted and filled with bees and other insects, they took it apart, carted it to their truck and, before they left, raked and cleared the area of nails and other debris.
They are awesome and I recommend them highly.

I hired Jimmy Consaga and his crew today to move a piano and numerous other furniture items with multiple delivery points around the NY metro area. They were on time, efficient, polite and very very careful. Their price was extremely fair and competitive and there were no hidden or extra fees at the completion of the job. I was extremely satisfied with them and would not hesitate to use them again or recommend to anyone. I was also pleased how Mr. Consaga was involved with the job from the initial price quote to finish. It is good to see as the owner, he really cares about the jobs he books and the quality of the work that gets done. Do yourself a favor and call them first if you are moving.

I recommend Jim & team without hesitation. They recently moved an antique piece of furniture for me from Westchester to CT, and the experience was completely seamless. They were very responsive to my questions, arrived on-​time, were efficient and careful wrapping up and moving the piece, and very polite. Having completed the move, I can say that I think their price was a great value — there were no hidden fees like other companies seemed to have (reservation fees, a charge for an insurance certificate, etc), and they were a pleasure to work with.

I moved from a house to a third floor walk-​up on a hot July Sunday. Jimmy and his crew were fantastic from start to finish. The price was exactly as quoted. They did not stop working, never complained once, and handled everything with care. I am so completely impressed that I want to recommend them to everyone. I want to say I was most impressed by Jimmy and the team. I was supposd to move on a Sunday afternoon with another company. That company stood me up and in a desperation I had contacted A MAN WITH A VAN AND MORE. Let me say Jimmy made it a point to help me all the way, he understood my situation and urgency and scheduled a move early next morning. Let me say, moving is such a stressful experience and Jimmy and his crew made it a very smooth transition and with such care as well. I highly recommend.

I was very happy with A Man with A Van & More. I found them on Angie’s List due to their excellent reviews. Jimmy came and gave me an estimate. I was moving from NJ to Atlanta and was on a limited budget. He suggested products and additional services that would save me money on my move. He is quick at communicating and getting right back with the several questions that I had. He helped take the stress out of moving. He sent 3 of his best guys to help with the move. They were AMAZING– HARD WORKING and so detailed oriented. They were the best of the best. They came early and stayed late until the job was done. Perfect, perfect, perfect. I HATE moving and I have to say this was the smoothest move that I have ever had. Jimmy was perfect from the beginning. He got right back to me with an estimate and got right on my job. He and his men worked in my house (without me being there) and were so professional that I am stunned. No cursing, no smelling like cigarettes, no breaking things, no trash talking to one another. Just good guys working hard and wanting to do a good job. I am a tough customer and seriously I wouldn’t use any other moving company. Oh and before I forget Jimmy didn’t hand me a bill for more than the «estimate» like so many other movers do. It was exactly like he quoted. Perfect! Just how it should be. I sure wish that others would follow Jimmy’s lead and get back to honest business.

I was in a jam and needed my living room furniture consolidated and bedroom furniture moved into it. I got stuck by another company and needed it done the same day and then moved back when my floors were finished.
James accommodated my tight schedule by coming at 8 PM with his men. These guys were FANTASTIC. I used to work for a moving company many years ago, so I know good movers when I see them. They wrapped and blanketed the pieces that required it. Moved a huge armoire and triple dresser with ease. They were able to navigate the door, steps, hall and chandelier easily.
My flooring job took longer than expected. I was unable to keep our appointment for the reverse move. That was no problem for James. He further accommodated me by coming back on a Saturday to reverse the job. He could have held me off until Monday, but he knew I wanted my bedroom back. His guys even held up the furniture while I put adhesive, felt pads on the bottom of the legs, so it wouldn’t scratch my new wood flooring. I cannot speak highly enough about this company. I would highly recommend them to anyone that needs anything moved –anywhere.
I would not only use them again… I wouldn’t use anyone else! Hire this company and you won’t be disappointed. They are PHENOMENAL!

Would not recommend. We called three times. First time Jimmy said to send him info and he would call back. He never did. We contacted him. Second time we called him and after giving us a time, he changed it twice and made us feel that moving us was an imposition. After confirming time, date and location, he didnt show or call losing us time and money. We found another local company who valued us and charged us less for the same move. Dont waste your time here. The only thing this man with a van cared about was football. Not his clients.
