Bobby Rucci’s Famous Italian Deli and Doughboys

So happy Rucci’s started opening for Sunday breakfast. My husband and I have been enjoying their food since they opened and have always loved it. Sunday breakfast just tops it off. Try the scrapple and sausage biscuits and gravy. Other favorites are the lasagna, Doughboys, pizzas and the Reuben.

This place is a little gem I love it. The death by grill cheese is crazy good. Must share it so big.

Hubby and I went for carry out. Cheesesteaks are decent. However I was so excited to try the pizza. I was disappointed. The pizza sauce was very salty! Can’t say we will return…

I Absolutely Loved The Shrimp Salad Sub. It Was More Than I Expected. The Cost To Eat Here Is Very Expensive For My Taste. The First Pizza We Ordered Here Was Really Greasy And Salty. You Do Get Healthy Portions Though, Well Enough To Fill Up the Average Joe.

Beer is a little pricy but the pizza was fantastic. Smaller than it looks from the outside. Very friendly people, clean and fast service. I will come back again to try one of their subs they look delicious.

We LOVE Rucci’s!!! The food is always awesome and the service is top notch! I recommend the Steamship Roast Beef sandwich with horseradish and au jus… it’s always perfect!!! My husband usually gets the Consigliere and he loves it! Bobby and his staff put their heart and soul into this business.

Where do I start went there last nite with a good friend and we so did enjoy ourselves! The place is so clean and our waitress was not rushing us at all cause we wanted to drink our drinks and Chat before ordering! Then we finally got appetizers my friend got Cream of Crab and I got Meatball app came Itailan bread and sauce it was a huge meatball all for only $ 375 it was so tasty! My friend said Crab soup was good but she said she also likes Marie’s diner alittle better but she said still good! And then our main Courses we decided to Split a Reuben Sand it came with Fries and a really delish Pickle! And we also got there Spinach Salad and I tell you that was the best spinach Salad I have had anywhere! And that Bacon Dressing was the Bomb! So so good! We split that too! And I still have enough for my dinner tonite! I can’t wait to eat it! I did not take pic wanted to and just couldn’t stop eating! Lol! Best meal I have had in awhile! I have my dad in Nursing home and just haven’t been eating much and my friend took me out to Cheer me up and she really did make my day! I can’t wait to go back to Rucci to try other things on the menu! So much So little Time!!! Lol lol! Oh and all the help there very friendly and Helpful! See ya all real soon!!!

I’ve always had great food here, irrespective of what I order. From their Italian main dishes to their sandwiches and subs, it is always well-​seasoned and delicious. The portions are generous, and the staff is friendly. I like their music, too. Nice inviting atmosphere.

My husband and I went here tonight. We were greeted the minute we entered by friendly smiling faces. Our infant was with us and multiple staff members came over to see him and were so sweet to us. And they didn’t try to touch him, which made me even happier. (Lol) My husband and I are both from Jersey and it reminded us of a little mom and pop shop at home.
It wasn’t too busy when we first got there, but within 15 minutes, it was packed. It’s a very daily oriented restaurant. The menu has a lot to choose from, so there’s something for everyone. My husband and I split the lasagna, although, one of us could have eaten it. It was VERY tasty! You could taste the oregano and other spices! My husband got that Wise Guy Haddock. He really liked it. He added pepper jack cheese to it. I had a taste and enjoyed it as well. I also had a caprese salad, which was pretty okay. I am used to it having spinach and not just a big piece of lettuce. I also wish it had more tomatoes. It was yummy though. And lastly, I got a sweet tea, which wasn’t diabetes sweet.
I absolutely love this place! We will definitely be back!

I ordered food from here through foodscooter about a month ago and enjoyed it. I wanted to come with my husband one day to try it, because the menu looked good, and my husband loves cream of crab soup. He doesn’t like trying new places for some reason, so it was hard to convince him.
Well we walk inside, and then just stood there for at least 5 minutes, and not one person greeted us or smiled at us or anything. I saw at least 8 employees, including the hostess (who was going back and forth from the dining room to the hostess stand), and no one greeted us? 5 minutes is a long time when you’re literally standing there. They looked busy but that’s no excuse, it takes 2 seconds to say hi.
We stood there for another minute deciding if we should stay or not, husband wanted to go somewhere else. As much as I convinced him to come here, I agreed with him and we just left. I really wanted to try this place, it’s a shame.

Traveling through the area and wanted to find a locally run, non-​chain, easy to get to and reasonably priced restaurant. Based on other Unilocal reviews this one looked like a winner — and it was! Service was good and we really appreciated the hand shake and thank you from the owner on our way out. Felt like a family friend.
DH and I split the Caesar salad and still had leftovers to bring home. They pre-​mix the dressing into the salad and there was a lot of it — would probably ask them to go a bit lighter next time but was very tasty. The We also split 2 main courses which were both daily specials — shrimp tacos and chicken and dumplings. We loved the tacos — so fresh and very flavorful. Would def get again. Chicken and dumplings were very tasty — very nice if you’re looking for comfort food. Had tons of chicken. Felt a bit heavy after the tacos — again, had enough leftover to bring home. Will make a great hearty snack.
Menu was huge — lots to choose from and it all looked good. Really enjoyed our meal here and next time we pass through we will definitely return!

Ate there for the first time today. The cream of crab soup was thick with a pile of crab meat on top. The Death by Grilled Cheese was awesome! If you go, you have to try the dough boys. All of the ingredients were fresh and homemade.
The service was timed perfectly which can be difficult for a table of 7.
Rucci’s is worth at least a 45 min drive if you are in the area!

Expect to pay a little more coming here however the food taste great! I tried their steak and cheese sandwich and my wife had the shrimp sub. The bread tastes amazing and the ingredients didn’t have me feeling sick or sluggish. The portions are incredibly generous as well. It’s well worth the trip and money!

Great food!!! We were greeted by the owner when we arrived. We started with the pepperoni dough boy, it was delicious. We had white pizza with bacon and onion, death by grilled cheese (our favorite), Tony Saprano steak and cheese and the Clemenza (Italian sausage and meatballs). We shared them all and could not finish them. Onion rings were excellent side. The service was good also. The only down side was the pizza was a little burned on the bottom. An excellent place for lunch.

Food is outstanding! Try the charcuterie for two, and a bottle of wine. Also, order a meatball as an appetizer. You won’t be disappointed. The place is small, and the atmosphere is light. The also have an outdoor patio — dogs allowed! If mine wasn’t bigger than most people, I’d certainly bring her. :) Give this place a shot!

Chicken & Spinach Florentine Rigatoni, superb and the Cream of Crab Ummm!!! Every meal we have ordered well exceeded expectations. The Clam Chowder is equally delicious, but it is a special.

My daughter was craving a steak & cheese sub for her 6^th birthday dinner. After searching Unilocal for a bit for something that would fit the bill and was also near the movie theatre I came across Bobby Rucci’s. Not only did the food look delicious, the prices were good, but they also seemed to be kid friendly. So we headed there this past Saturday for her birthday dinner. The staff at Bobby Rucci’s was very accommodating to our group w/​lots of little kids. They set us up in the deli area more out of the way of other diners which I really appreciated and I’m sure the other patrons did as well LOL.
Their menu is quite extensive and everything sounds yummy so it was hard to make a decision. Just when you thought you had what you wanted to order a waitress would walk by w/​something that looked amazing so you’d change your mind. Eventually between our group we ordered Cream of Crab Soup (OMG amazing & I am super hard to please when it comes to cream of crab soup) their version of steak & cheese sub The Tony Soprano (pretty good but had way too much bread) The Nucky Thompson (delicious!!) an Italian Pizza Bread (For a girl who used to live on Stouffers French Bread Pizzas this was like the ULTIMATE French Bread Pizza) the kids ordered buttered noodles, chicken tenders, & pizzas all of them were delish and portion sizes were quite large! We all were all so absolutely stuffed after eating dinner that none of us even thought about buying popcorn or snacks at the movies!
Definitely impressed and have plans to come back to Bobby Rucci’s!

I just noticed that my fat fingers caused me to give 3 stars in my last review vs the 4 I wanted to give (I am using my phone’s keypad). Anyway, I cant find a way to undo/​update the previous review rating, but it should be a solid 4. I am going to try to edit the review on my computer tomorrow, hopefully I will have better luck.

So we order out today we got the meat & cheese lasagna and the trad chicken carbonara. Let me tell you this is melt in your mouth good. So good you were in someone’s house eating this right off the stove.
I go the traditional chicken carbona I didn’t like it that much maybe it was an off day. The ps tat tasted as if it was soaked in water no
Flavor at all.

Stopped in on the way north because of previous reviews. Cool place. Nice and clean. The wedge salad was HUGE — glad our server gave us the heads up that it was big enough to share. Super fresh, the blue cheese was tangy and those onions! Not sure what they are marinated in, but they were yummy.
We got a pizza which was tasty. The crust was nothing special, but the sauce was great! You can taste the herbs. Good amount of cheese as well. The kid had the child’s spaghetti and meatball. Yes, one big meatball. Again, great sauce. The meatball though, was pretty dry and tasteless
Service was good. Overall a nice dinner. We’ll definitely return if we’re in the area any time soon.
