Edamame Spa

This place was great to get a prenatal massage because they’re the only customers they cater to. The preggo bed was so much better than the mats they use in regular spas. The place is inside Destination Maternity and the actual spa itself is pretty small but it didn’t really matter. Suffice it to say, the massage was fantastic! Latoya was my masseuse and she was great. It was very comfortable and the experience was relaxing. I highly recommend trying it out instead of going to a regular spa.

Shavonnie gave one of the best massages I ever had… and I have had quite a few. This maternity massage gave me the closest thing you can have to a buzz during pregnancy!

This spa is inside of the Destination Maternity in White Plains. I went there last week because I wanted to get a prenatal massage and facial from a spa that was definitely trained in how to care for pregnant women. It was fantastic! They’re very accommodating, and the facility, although small, is very comforting and relaxing. The esthetician was fantastic — she made the experience really great. She listened to my concerns and recommended what type of home care regimen I should do to help even out my skin without pushing any products on me. The massage therapist was great as well, and they really work with you at any stage of pregnancy to make sure you’re comfortable and not putting any pressure on your stomach and growing baby.
You can’t get massages until you’re done with your first trimester, but they do offer a lot of other services. They had a special when I was there for a 50 minute facial followed by a 50 minute massage for $ 210. It was well worth it to pamper myself and my baby!
