History

Established in 1994.

We were established on a Tuesday in 1994 by two friends, «Mully» and myself, JR. We took over the bar previously known as Nick & Nellie’s, before that it was Renie’s Pub before even that Keltie’s.

Mully and I took over Nick & Nellie’s after we («Mully» the carpenter and myself the electrician) completed the renovations on the old Renie’s to almost what is currently standing today. The previous owners did not put the energy and love that was needed into the facility, eventually they went bankrupt. Seeking restitution for our construction debts we decided to take over the bar, together.

In April of 1994 we took possession of the bar on a Tuesday and opened for business the next Friday.

We had a lot of fun and became best friends through the venture. Unfortunately eight months after we opened Mully met an untimely death driving home in inclement weather.

Years later with many of the original staff we will always hold Mully’s memory very dear.
