Simple menu executed well. New staff since last time. They always get orders right since not everyone in our family likes the hot stuff hot… love the ramen for sure. Seafood broth is worth it.

This place is also called So Dong Gong so there might be another Unilocal listing. The lady on the phone was rude. When we got there & ate, it was expensive for the amount of food you got. This would be great for those on a diet & going low carb. Mostly veggies with a small amount of meat. Even the short rib appetizer has so many bones it’s very little meat.

This intimate little Korean restaurant may look unassuming from the outside, but the high ceiling and the interior décor make the dining area open and inviting. The menu is sparse, but the soondubu is superb! Definitely ranks near the top of my list for most the flavorful and hardy soondubu soup bases that I’ve had. The banchans(free refills included!) really hit the spot, and the price per entrée is on par with most other tofu houses. Just be aware of the language barrier — one of my roommates is Korean and we still had issues getting our needs addressed.

Clean, efficient, good. NY Tofu offers a rather straightforward meal proposition — SDB or BBB. Just four banchan options, and a limited Korean food menu. Fortunately, the SDB is done well. Plain(white) and regular(red) soups are essentially the same heat; I hear the fire soup is actually spicy. Skip the noodle options and go for the rice; better to do the mid-meal rice soak that allows you to consume all of the excellent soup without resorting to slurping. Remarkably economical at ~$ 11.
