Newts closed for good in August 2015. Too bad. It was a great place to go for ice cream.

One of the best ice cream places in the area. Tons of options with over 40 soft serve flavors. It is a typical small town ice cream stand with an outdoor order counter and some benches to sit on. The service is good.

Quintessential small town ice cream joint.
You order outdoors over a counter, and there is quite a lot to order from. 24 kinds of soft serve, hard ice cream, sundaes, shakes, cakes, and all kinds of specialties. The hard ice cream is made by Hood.
I had a raspberry — chocolate chip frozen yogurt and it was pretty good with lots of chocolate chips.
