It’s been a good stop. The environmental staff is very thorough and the rooms are very good.

When we first arrived, i was very happy to be here. The place was clean and brand new… even smelled like fresh paint. The bed was super, the bathroom was lovely… and we booked for a week and got a weekly rate.
However, something amazing happened after we had been here for 5 days, the owner or manager of this place suddenly decided that the hotel DIDN’T include a weekly rate after all. This came about when the guy realized that my partner and I were a couple. I guess homophobia can transcend all kinds of racial boundaries. The guy made me pay for an extra night (at a rate that was almost TWICE what the nightly rate was for the week). When I told him we were cancelling our WEEK reservation ahead, his reply was ‚“Ok​.no problem!“
Even though the internet connection there has a «clock» to show you how long your internet is viable (which is the number of hours your room is booked) and that clock showed an additional 24 hours were on our account, he lied about everything. He even said that there was no such thing as an hourly meter for the internet and that passwords were always good for a month and I was looking right at it!
(When we first arrived the clock turned off our internet within 24 hours and we had to get it re-​set!)
So, I guess as long as you are not gay, this is an ok place to stay. However, if ethics mean something to you, I suggest you go elsewhere. I am contacting the corporate offices of Scottish Inn and reporting this loon!
