Had a nice family breakfast this am. Food was warm and tasty and service was friendly and courteous. Food prep was a little slow as it was prime breakfast time and competition across the street was closed for cleaning so they were quite busy.

Great for a quick home cooked breakfast. You can tell it is the locals favorite breakfast place. The cinnamon roll is over rated but good. Reasonable prices Would go there again.

We enjoyed Swift Creek Café! The French toast was awesome and the employees were very welcoming! We will definitely make a repeat visit.

This is the proverbial«hole in the wall» restaurant. It is, however, a local hangout with consistently excellent food. Breakfast and lunch only, though.

This is the local breakfast joint for sure. People would come in and simply order their usual. Very fresh very good. And the coffee is hot and they keep it coming.

I would have given it 4 stars, as the service and food were great, but they lost a star for the watered down coffee. In a town with so many great coffee shops, they need to step up their game. If coffee is not your thing, then enjoy the great ambience, food and service.

Really great food and homespun service. This is our favorite breakfast place in Whitefish because of the intimacy it offers. Any dish you get will be fabulous. My favorites are the Hobos, Benis, and the Tofu Curry scramble. The one thing that is so so important to us that brings it down a notch is that they stop serving breakfast at 11:30. We’re brunch breakfast people, and we rarely get outta the house in time to get there early enough… Loulas does serve breakfast until 2 so we usually go there instead… Sometimes I hear that Swift Creek will fire up the breakfast griddle til 2, but it doesn’t say that on their website… so call first.

French Toast is so tasty. Actually everything is good. Definitely owners are there doing the hard work. Staff is attentive and enthusiastic. We keep going back assured that the breakfast will be excellent.

I wanted to go back here, my husband said we hadn’t liked it the first time, but I didn’t believe him. Now I do. I got an omelet and potatoes, and it was so bad I didn’t even bother taking the leftovers home. The potatoes were cut to all different sizes, so the larger ones weren’t cooked properly! Here’s a tip to the owners — TRYYOUROWNFOOD!

Often overshadowed by some of the better known breakfast places, Swift Creek is as strong a contender as any of them. Great breakfasts, always. Highly suggest you check them out.

Amazingly delicious breakfast and excellent service. Can’t beat that. The only downside is that it Does not use organic or more natural ingredients. P. It would be nice to at least have some free range non hormonal eggs. i will mention the waitress took note of my comment and said they are working their way there. Appreciated a lot!

Great café for breakfast and lunch. Food was excellent(we went for lunch), service as great, and the décor is simple, pleasant and uniquely Montana. I hear that it is pretty busy for breakfast and the locals love it. Note that if you need wheelchair access, it may not work. The front door has 2 small steps. Not sure if there was a ramped entrance.

Great local place for breakfast in downtown Whitefish. Nice atmosphere with locals at the tables. Get the Hobo — potato fry-up with veggies, cheese, sausage/bacon and eggs. We came in Saturday morning with only few tables busy, so we had full attention of the staff and coffee cups were never empty(great coffee!). Overall, very good local place for full breakfast.

Fantastic breakfast at a fair price. Locally owned with very friendly service and a great atmosphere. I recommend the angler(eggs, French toast, and bacon).

I’ve been here 3 times now, and each time, I’ve ordered the Eggs Benedict. All 3 times, the eggs have been overcooked to the point the yolks were pale yellow, dry, and chalky. I was hoping the first time was an off day, but it seems they just can’t poach an egg. The rest of the meal was great. The service was good and reasonably friendly. I will definitely return and try something else from the menu.

Worth another visit from this tourist, but some of the gripes are spot-on. Good food, nice place, and friendly service, but small, over-busy and the gals may not smile at everyone. Work with ‘em and you can get a grin. We did see a customer seated and forgotten. He left. We didn’t(but, we weren’t forgotten.) Go for a Hobo. Split it with a friend unless you’re not wanting to eat for a while afterward.

When anyone asks me, «Where’s a good place for breakfast in Whitefish?», the 1st place I suggest is Swift Creek. Sure there are notable others, but this one tends to be my favorite. The old brick walls and big glass front give the place a lot of character, but the food is why you’re here. It’s GREAT! No matter what you decide on, you will not be disappointed. I, however, suggest getting any of the«hobo» offerings. Would type more, but I’ve made myself hungry just typing about the hobo dishes so I think a trip to Whitefish and the Swift Creek is in order.
