Calamita Tailoring

Have been going to this little gem for years… I was surprised to see no other reviews.
I purchased a dog bed from Frontgate a few years ago (spent enough that there should have been nothing wrong with the bed) only to find out the zipper was faulty when I tried to remove the cover for cleaning. After contacting Frontgate and the supplier I was told nothing could be done and the bed had since been discontinued. So now I have this lovely bed that I cannot completely zip because the fancy invisible zipper is broken. I called multiple cleaners in my area (I moved and live about 40 min away) and even tried getting a zipper on my own to replace it. Unfortunately I could not find one long enough so as a last ditch effort I went to Calamita Tailor. The seamstress took a quick look at the bed and said she would need to go to Manhattan to get the correct zipper. I was beyond relieved/​ecstatic.
They are professional, pleasant and do beautiful work. Over the years they have tailored pants, dresses and even my scrubs. Thanks so much!
