Fin & Hooves

We came here hoping for a great meal with a peaceful atmosphere. The experience fell far short of our expectations. The place was extremely empty for Saturday night-​only 11 of us in the restaurant. The bartender was friendly but our waitress, Kitty, was out of it. We had to ask several times for water before she left a bottle. She was frazzled with only 4 tables to handle. We had to hear about her personal problems, something she should put aside during work or leave. We ordered the hummus, it was alright, the fish sandwich was very bland but the chili burger was good. The chef came out to ask how things were and we told him the same. We really expected much more of the cheesecake because it is advertised as a must but it wasn’t good enough to finish. The Carmel drizzle was burnt. My husband did appreciate that drinks were served in tumblers. We really think this place has great potential and we really hope they can work out the kinks and turn it into a great spot for the public as well as golfers.

Great place to grab food and drinks, especially if you like burgers. Newly renovated and a great atmosphere. It seems casual but with a little class. I suggest the Chicken Wrap with the fries, yummy! This is one of Tylers resturaunts and if you don’t know who he is, you should! He has three resturaunts in Whitewater so if you have three days there is a place for each!
