This is a great park to go to if you don’t want a huge crowd and some piece and quite. This park is hidden within the streets of Anaconda. And unless you are familiar with the area you would miss it. I have helped my friend throw a party here a couple years ago when they had all the tables and covering to decorate. She had went really early to save the tables which is only enough for one party. There was about maybe ten tables. I loved that about the park because everybody was able to stick together close and not have anybody else from other parties next to us. There is a small playground for the kids to play and they always have a great time. There is grass surrounding the whole playground and tables and just enough room to get a small game of football or something but not too much. There is parking along the street which is as long as the whole block so there is a lot of room. I always forget about this park but I definitely want to start bringing my girls back here.

Great park that is quietly tucked into a residential area in Whittier. Quiet, has plenty of grass to run around on, a basketball court, & workout stations.

Work out time… I love it here. It’s small and quite. The only default is this group of teenagers that show up to practice there dance there with verrrrrrrry loud music. Other then that when there not there it’s nice and kids are having fun on the playground and a small walking track and a working out benches for people. I like it.

Enjoy this park very much! The only problem is the homeschool crowd that comes mid week. The moms let their kids run around and bully other kids and they also leave the park full of trash! So any days other then Wednesday and Thursday are good!

I always thought it was cool and kind of weird to name a park(and a street) after a deadly snake. I know I was old enough to know better by the time I found out about this park, but I always secretly wondered whether this park had once had snakes. Well, it doesn’t. I believe it used to have a piece of play equipment that looked like a snake, but I might be making that up. What I don’t like about this park is how small it is. There just aren’t that many public places for kids to run around in in East Whittier, and the size of this park kind of epitomizes that fact. Still, it’s cool to find a park hidden away like this, and if you live south of Whittier Boulevard, it’s nice to have an option to bring the kids without having to cross a dangerous street.
