Besame Cosmetics

This is my new favorite cosmetics store! The lipstick is absolutely the best, most pigmented lipstick you can get. All of the packaging will make you feel like a 40’s screen goddess and the staff is the sweetest (shout out to Lauren!) I highly recommend going to one of the classes. At the one I attended, the owner explained her development process and you could just feel her passion for make up. The only way they could improve is by extending their hours. If they stayed open until 8pm I would be the happiest girl in the world!

Lovely ladies– the only reason they didn’t get 5 stars is because I didn’t make a product purchase (this time). I just came to search some reds since they have many… I think red velvet will be fun in my future.
I met both ladies who work this location, very knowable and nice representatives of the brand. Research the brand, it’s a fun story and you will appreciate the mission. If you a beauty product lover enjoy the museum like atmosphere that reminds me of the old Max factor museum in Hollywood.
If around uptown, a pin-​up or not– come get a bit of glamour addition to your day. Your grandmother would be proud…

Such a lovely place! Lauren helped me with testing fragrances and trying out lipsticks. She was so knowledgeable and polite. Not to mention she has great style. Yasmin helped me check out and she was so delightful to talk to. Overall I love Besame Cosmetics because of the integrity in the ingredients and the immaculate classic design. Great job to the founder Gabriela Hernandez.

My friends and I accidentally discovered the cutest most magical little shop in Uptown Whittier called «Besame». Once inside you will take a step back in time to a bygone era of romance, intrigue and charm. We felt like we were transported to Paris in the 1920’s. Some might clearly say it is a place filled with glamour and beauty of «old Hollywood». The interior of the store is lovely and the glass cases are filled with beautiful cosmetics packaged so elegantly that you will feel like you are a starlet reaching for her beautifully crafted Crème rouge or true red lipstick. Speaking of which the vintage reproduction reds are the exact shades used by favorite Hollywood starlets. We had such fun here and let me not forget to mention the wonderful shop girls here who look like they are right out of the pages of a magazine from Old Hollywood. This place is dynamite fun! They are offering special classes on make up too. We love «Besame» and are sure you will too!

This boutique is unlike anything you’ve ever encountered! It’s truly like walking back in time! The two gals who run the shop are so stunning! Lauren and Yasmin were so incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about Bésame Cosmetics! Not to mention the quality of the product is unreal!
I have found my holy grail! The two gals are not only helpful and patient, but they were also so genuine and kind! Trying on make-​up can be very intimidating, especially if you hardly have any knowledge with it to begin with! Yasmin and Lauren suggested the perfect red lipstick to complement my skin tone– American Beauty!
I will absolutely be skipping back into the lovely boutique very soon to snag another red lipstick!
