If I can give Dr. Chung and his colleagues 10 stars I would because he and his staff are AMAZING! I had some trouble with a tooth and needed it to be extracted thanks to a crappy dentist I had years ago, and he was referred to me by Dr. Wong in La Mirada (another wonderful dentist!). I was VERY nervous because I opted out of being put to sleep, but his assistants were very sweet and I was numbed up REALLY good. One of his assistants was right behind me during the procedure giving me kind and soothing words… that’s all she did and it really put me at ease. There were 2 other assistants who were so sweet and very nice. I can’t say more nice things about them. The procedure was very fast and pain free! Since it was my first extraction I didn’t know what to expect pain-​wise, but it was great. After it was done they sat me in the back room for about 20 minutes to keep an eye on the bleeding and once I got the okay to leave they wrote me a script for pain meds and I was on my way. It took about an hour altogether. A couple hours later I got a phone call from Dr. Chung himself to see that I got home alright and if I was feeling okay! How great is that?! I went back a week later to get the stitches taken out and they were really nice yet again! No complications and everything is going great, thanks to Dr. Chung. I hope no one would ever have to go through what I had to, but if they do, I highly recommend Dr. Chung. All dentists should be like him!

This review is a little late in writing, but anyways, a couple of years ago,
I went to Dr, Chungs office to get BOTH wisdom teeth out,
He put me out in seconds, next thing I know, I wake up in a nice cool room,
And here’s the best part, even after the novacaine wore off, NO PAIN !
I know this may be hard to believe, but it is true, at least in my case.
One word of warning, there are other dentists there, and I heard they were NOT as
Good as Dr. Chung … So make sure you get him to do the work.
If he is still there, as I said, mine was done a couple of years ago …

A word to the wise, wisdom teeth suck. Period. They are useless, they get infected and can undo 5 years of orthodontic work in a matter of months. Do not fear, Dr. Chung is here!
Okay, I am a complete wimp, pansy, crier, freaker-​outer when it comes to doctors, dentist and oral hygienists at all times. So naturally, I put off removing 4 of those «wise» bad boys for much too long. I came to Dr. Chung in pain and total prepared for an awful experience.
Today I am 2 weeks post my oral surgery and I am delighted to say that was a pleasant experience. His staff was knowledgable, caring and oh so patient! Dr. Chung was quick, super nice and I even got to keep my teeth. SO COOL.

Dr. Chung is a very personable guy, and he was open to addressing my questions about wisdom teeth extraction during my consultation. The office gals were all extremely friendly, and I was very comfortable going there for my surgery. It gave me a big peace-​of-​mind to know they had a specific protocol; from making sure I had a driver who could also pick up my meds, to having a back room to recoup from anesthesia, to scheduling a check up appointment after one week. Thanks, Dr. Chung!

in sept. 2010 went to see Dr. Chung for wisdom tooth extraction ended up with sinus infection about three months later he operated to close hole didn‘t help. he said tooth next to hole need to be pulled that would fix problem didn‘t help been in pain for 18months he pretty much said o well.

Wisdom teeth pain! No bueno. =(
I spent much of New Year’s weekend in pain and promptly called Dr. Chung’s office the as soon as they opened after the new year’s holiday. I was lucky enough to get not only the consultation appointment BUT the wisdom tooth extraction (all four!)the same day!!! =)
The staff at the office was so kind and helpful. The receptionist called me to let me know about the availabilities because she knew I was in pain. She also let me know about my insurance and payment options, since my insurance was having issues displaying my benefits (due to some HR stuff at my work), I paid everything out of pocket. My reimbursement check arrived a few weeks later, even though it was suppose to take 4 – 6 weeks. Fast!
Dr. Cho was great! At my consultation appointment he was kind, courteous and professional. Explained to me the procedure, my x-​rays and answered any questions I had. The procedure went smoothly and I was in and out off the office in a little over an hour. It takes about 30 minutes for the extraction and then you have to rest in the back room to let the anesthesia wear off. The staff was really helpful in explaining the post-​opt care. Dr. Cho even called me a couple hours later in the evening to ask how I was feeling.
I had been hesitant about getting my wisdom teeth pulled and I put it off until the pain came. I was really lucky to have found this office and am extremely grateful that I didn’t have to wait to get the procedure and everything went great.
I now have four less teeth but am pain free! Yay! =D

Dr. Chung is an exceptional doctor. The staff were very friendly and professional. They really made me feel good about my wisdom teeth extraction (all 4 removed). I would definitely recommend going to Dr. Chung.

Dr. Chung has been in the area for years and pulled out my wisdom teeth. Appointments were consistently on time and I had no problems with my recovery. I even received a personal phone call from him at home later that day to see how things were. He has a way of adding that personal touch to calm your anxiety that other doctors can easily overlook. Highly recommended.
