I have worked with Gary, Mike And Steve for over thirty years, on a host of different projects.
From wood & laminate flooring, tile and carpet I have only GOOD things to say about their service and product quality. The workmanship is the best and I NEVER get anything but the the finest treatment from all the employees. Evelyn, Fidel & Buddy and all pros and always there to help with whatever my needs are.
As far as the one star rating below, it would take a couple of 18 wheeler’s to take samples to a call on the first visit, so I think there is a bigger issue here than meets the eye.

I am very happy with the flooring purchased and installed by Carpet One.
Everyone in the store was more than happy to help us. We got to choose from a lot of different samples in a variety of colors and prices.
Evelyn came out to our home with the samples, took the measurements and had a quote for us quickly.
Ultimately we went with a luxury vinyl tile for all three bathrooms.
It worked out well because they installed our new toilets as part of the deal. We got new baseboards too.
The installers were on time, did a good job and cleaned up afterwards.

We had some water damage in our home when a pipe burst in the wall. We were referred to Carpet One by our insurance company. Not only did they work with them to help us with all of the details, they took care of paying the claim to Carpet One so we didn’t have to be involved. The details were all worked out, their work is guaranteed AND covered by our insurance company due to their contract. We had laminate and carpet installed and the installers did a very professional job. I recommend them highly, because their installers work directly for them and are not sub contractors. Our estimated time to complete the laminate installation was 2 – 3 days. The job took over a week because Tibo and Paco took such amazing care to ensure the job was done right and to our satisfaction. Steve was the sales rep and he was professional, patient and thorough with the details throughout the entire process. Full marks for Steve, Fidel, Tibo, Paco and the carpet installation team.

We had a deadline, and we needed carpet. We were helped by Buddy. He brought samples over and we made our choice. The carpet was installed beautifully a few days later! We couldn’t be happier with the service, and the quality of installation & product. I recommend Carpet One. We need our kitchen floor redone soon, and we shall be going back to Carpet One.

We prefer to deal locally but had a very tough time even getting estimates. We scheduled an appointment only to have it moved by Carpet One, last minute. When the estimator arrived, he failed on the two specifics we asked: 1. Please bring carpet samples; 2. Please do not park in the driveway. Well, he forgot the samples and yes, he parked in our driveway, which is long and narrow and difficult to navigate.
The estimator measured all rooms and then told us he would be prepared to show us samples, including cork flooring (He would order cork samples.) and we could come in the following week. Two weeks later we stopped in only to find our room measurements were lost and the cork floor samples… Never ordered. The person at the store seem genuinely uninterested and said «Just look around.»
The next day, I called and spoke to the owner, Gary, and he too, seemed disinterested. I am not sure how this business survives. Especially since we are reflooring a 3,200 square foot home. (Maybe that was not big enough for them?)
We were able to go across the street to another flooring company who was eager to help, showed us a multitude of samples and promptly came to our home to measure.
Sadly, we cannot recommend this business.

We were referred to Carpet One Floor & Home in Whittier when we remodeled our home. The showroom is large and well organized with a lot of selection. Our salesman was very professional, informative and easy to deal with. The whole sales staff there was really nice and friendly. They came out to measure and provided a free estimate. We got a great deal and they installed hardwood flooring in our entry, living room, dining room, hall and family room; carpet in the four bedrooms and ceramic tile in the kitchen and bathrooms. Every installation team that worked in our home arrived when they were scheduled. All of them were very careful and clean. The job came out better than we ever could have expected. It looks beautiful!
