Delgado’s Custom Dress Shoes and Repairs

Good work at a fair price… what more could you ask for? I’ve found my shoe repair man (finally)! After over 5 years of overpriced and shoddy service (and ruined shoes) I’m so happy to have found this place. Thanks Unilocalers!

I had never taken a pair of shoes to be repaired as I normally just throw them away. But, I had a perfectly good pair of my favorite shoes that needed new «blades» on the heals and a new pair of booties that needed to be stretched. So I researched shoes repair businesses and saw that there were great reviews to this shop near my home. I brought the two pairs of shoes and the work was done perfectly with a quick turn around! Also, the owners of the store are really nice, which makes for an ever better experience! I am now sold on the idea of taking perfectly good shoes in to be fixed (instead of throwing them out) and I will definitely be bringing all of my shoes here from now on.

I took in a pair of suede boots, now these boots i’ve had for years bought for $ 120 In San Francisco Franco Sarto store, they have a little bit of fringe going down the side of each boot, very stylish now… BUT the boots had a long toe bed (square toe) looked like Witch shoes ! Took these boots in for Noe (The Owner & Shoe Cobbler /​miracle worker) to see if he would be able to re-​do the toe area. Figured what do I have to loose, they have been in my closet for 15 yrs… He pulled the front toe area apart (they were old) and said «I can» I picked the shape of toe I preferred… To my surprise/joy…HE REMADE THE TOE AREA !! I wish I would of took some before pictures… Showed my friends… They were in total shock… They look like they were made (originally) like that! Noe did a wonderful amazing job ! So if you have a pair of shoes/​boots you LOVE and they require some fixing or re-making…Take them to Delgado’s …This guy is a authentic Shoe Cobbler… The price was very reasonable !! I love my boots. This man is truly AMAZING… His wife is very lovely too ! She helped with the translation… He does speak English, but she helped with my crazy request !!

I took my strappy high heels here because the elastic on the straps tore. Mr. Delgado was able to fix them and have them ready a few hours later! They look brand new and I’m very pleased with the service I got. It was a reasonable price and he was very grateful that I came to him because I live I bit further, and he was especially happy when I mentioned the awesome reviews on Unilocal.Highly recommend this place!

Noe Delgado is an amazing craftsman. We took in my wife’s cheap little belt (but her favorite) that was cracking and he added a good liner and now it looks like it will last forever. You can’t even see the liner. We have had other work done here and couldn’t be happier. Prices are very reasonable. Delgados gets 5 stars!

I had brought some heels previously to replace the bottom of the heel as a war out and he did an excellent job. And now I’m coming out in a wedding at the meet of honor for my best friend and I found the perfect heels but they were just a little too snug where the toes are. I brought them into Mr. Delgado to have them stretched out and he did just that he stretch them out to just the right fit they fit me now perfectly as if they were made exclusively for me this place and this man are a hidden gem in Whittier and definitely somebody that we need to support because he does amazing work. The customer service is exceptional him and his wife are a sweet as can be understanding and deliver when they said that they will.
It’s great work, punctuality, amazing customer service, and just a great atmosphere is important to you then please bring your shoes over to him he’ll do wonders with them and you’ll be so happy!!!

I had my shoes taken in for repairing on the rim of my ankle because it was rubbing against my skin. They were fine for 2 days but then they started hurting again. I examined the ankle part of the shoe were the repairman had covered the rim with soft cushion. It appeared it needed more cushion. I went back, explained the story and said he could not fix it. I said I needed it fixed because it is still hurting. I need you to put more cushion or stuffing to prevent my skin from rubbing and causing pain. He said no. I’m like, No? I restated I just need extra cushion, I don’t care if it looks ugly I just need more cushion. I paid $ 40 for the repair and I want my money’s worth. He looked at the shoe, examined it for a while then gave it back to me and said no. OMG, I just need you to put more cushion. I already put a lot of money into the shoe. I can’t wear it if you don’t fix it. He looked at it again and a few seconds later, gave the shoe back to me and said no. HOLY SHIT!!! I got so mad I left. I paid with cash. Next time I will make sure to pay by credit card to any place. With credit card companies you can dispute the charges and get your money back. The guy can go to hell. Never coming back.

Mr. Noe Delgado made a customs pair of shoes for me that fit like a glove. I’ve never had a pair of shoes hand made, but Noe made it easy and perfect. He is now making a leather wallet for my wife. Can’t wait!

I’ve already used them three times. Each time, they do quality work. I’ve only used them for shoe shines and one leather purse shine, but every time has been quality.

This is an absolutely fantastic shoe repair shop! Noe and his wife are extremely friendly and Noe does top notch work and does his repairs quickly as well. I have never been disappointed in anything he’s done for our family’s shoe repair needs. I once thought something might be just a little overpriced but he quickly, sincerely and appropriately re-​negociated the charge price with me and did so with a genuine smile. I assured him I would be back for future repairs, which I have… I am glad to take our family’s repairs to him and wouldn’t think about going anywhere else.

Great same day service and at no extra charge. The guy was super nice and his price was very fair. Repaired one of my favorite belts to its original condition. I’m definitely going back.

Picked up my bag and noe exceeded expectations m fixed it and now the airline can reimburse me. O am a returning customer

This place is a little hole in the wall. I just took my leather belt to get shined and he had it done within the hour. Some places I called were telling me to pick up next day. I’ll probably bring my shoes to get shined next time.

Fabulous place, great, honest and speedy repairs. So happy to have found Delgado’s. Can’t wish for a better shoe repair. Saved my new Tory Burch sandals by redoing a whole piece that got cut and never over charged.

Kinda threw me off first time I went cuz the main sign says Bicycle repair. Walk inside & they do both. Was a little leery since these were my wifes favorite shoes. But figured what the heck & dropped them off. When I went back to pick them up they had done an exceptional job on both pairs. The prices are more than reasonable.
Will definitely be back.

Took in my boots to repair the base of the heel which had come off (they were crummy plastic covers) and the man replaced it with a new beautiful gummy one I feel much safer in them and am sure that they won’t fall off. It was all done in an hour. I’m taking all my shoes to him from now on. I payed $ 15 and it was worth every dollar. Super friendly and polite they speak spanish and english.

Had straps on a leather bag fixed. Great job at a reasonable price. Accepts credit cards for a small fee. Have cash available.
