Donuts Express

Can I just say this is the best donut shop in the entire world. They are the sweetest people I have ever met and they provide excellent customer service. Thank you so much!!!

It was my first time here, but clearly, Donut Express is the place to be! Super friendly service with awesome smiles all around. While waiting for my bacon croissant, I notice how they were on a first name basis with many of their customers, which tells you that it’s worth going back to. I got their chocolate and maple bars. They were some of the best I’ve ever had! Soft, moist, perfectly glazed… Yummy! Happy national donut day! :)

4.5 stars! Four stars for great doughnuts, five stars for quick yet super friendly service. The doughnuts were really good; They looked like other shops’ doughnuts but taste SO much better. I’m definitely glad I checked out Unilocal reviews before heading out for doughnuts for the family!

What a beautiful welcome every time I come in! The donuts are as sweet and lovely as the family who bakes them. Their donuts truly taste like love! Plus they sell scratchers. A special & happy experience every time I visit.

Got a ½ dozen and a 4 for $ 1 mini donuts. All were moist and super yummy.

This is such an awesome place! The family that works here is so sweet, always welcomes us and make us feel at home! There are tons of regulars that come in and we are one of them, they always ask how we are doing and are happy to see us. Not to mention their food is great, the turkey sub and breakfast croissants are so yummy and of course their donuts are always fresh :) oh and the honeydew smoothie is to die for! If I could give them 6 stars I would, their customer service and quality is what sets them apart from other places. I’d choose this place over dunkin donuts or Krispy Kreme any day hands down

If there’s one thing I’ve learned is that small business owners tend to have the best customer service. And this place is the true definition of that exactly. From the moment you walk in you’re warmly greeted by whoever is on the cash register/​kitchen. I come here mostly for the croissants & sandwiches. The BLT here beats Subway any day! The ingredients are super fresh, there is actually flavor in the deli meats they use unlike other places. They also have cut up fruit cups for sale so it’s always a charm to stop by for lunch.

Hands down the best bacon egg and cheese croissant in town. There are two very kind ladies and a gentleman that greet you when you walk in and make you feel welcome. The donuts are so delicious everything was fresh when I went there at 8am and 12pm. They also sell lottery scratchers and your able to cash them there as well. My new favorite place to stop at on my way to work.

I must admit a fact. I am addicted to donuts! I would eat one a day if my metabolism and health would permit me to. But let me get back to the subject at hand. My review about Donuts Express in Whittier. While I was exercising at 24hr Fitness close by, I was Unilocaling for a donut shop nearby. There were quite a few choices nearby, but I was immediately drawn to Donuts Express because of their 5 star rating.
A common theme in most of the reviews was that not only are the donuts good, but the customer service here is great. Well, I had to check them out for myself. Found them easily enough in a little strip plaza. They are a true mom and pop donut shop. Yes, the customer service was very welcoming and outstanding even for a non-​regular like me. As soon as I stepped inside the shop, I was welcomed!
Their display cases were packed with so many choices. I bought a Custard Filled Chocolate Donut and a Chocolate French Cruller. If I recall, it was not Bavarian custard inside. Still good, though. The French cruller was delicious!
No reason for me to give them less than 5 stars. If I lived in the area, then I would be the Duke of Donuts Express.

I don’t normally like donuts but I love their donut with whip cream filling and chocolate on top sooooo good!
The customer service is the best I’ve ever had. The girls that work there will brighten up your day. Make sure to bring cash!

This place is a hit and miss but please make sure you hit and don’t miss because you will miss out on great food and customer service. The sandwiches are the best so tasty and so affordable couldn’t believe the prices and the flavor ahhhhh I’m hooked will definitely be coming back and the regulars are there hanging out and are not shy in giving you the 411 on the sandwiches

For all of the random things I have seen Unilocaled… I almost had a heart attack when I saw my that this fine place doesn’t have any reviews. The owners are amazing people and run the type of business the community should support. So drive by Dunkin Donuts and head over to Wanda and Ray’s place.

This is our favorite place to get donuts in Whittier! The donuts are amazing and the service is great.

Wanda and Linda are the best give wonderful customers service. They know remember everyone’s name. They also remember what everybody likes. They have the best sandwiches in Whittier by far. They have the prices in town. The reason why I keep going back there is because of the service.

So we have been trying to eat healthy but needed a treat and decided on donuts. Being from the East Coast I was just going to get a dozen at Dunkin Donuts but after a bit of a debate, we decided to try Donuts Express, especially after reading the reviews on here.
All I can say is I am IMPRESSED! When you walk in, you are immediately greeted despite the fact that the place is packed. The woman who waited on me was so incredibly nice and attentive. Her little girl was there and was super adorable too. Anyway, I ordered a Bacon, Egg and Cheese on Croissant and a dozen donuts; I told the woman to just give me an assortment of whatever is popular. The croissant was ENORMOUS, so incredibly delicious and oh so filling. But of course, in order to do a proper review, I had to try a donut too. I opened the box and decided on the chocolate cake donut with the chocolate glaze. The donut was delicious, miles above Dunkin Donuts. DD should be ashamed of themselves when compared to Donuts Express. Now I haven’t tried any of the glazed she put in our dozen, but the cake donut was so perfect. Had a bit of a crunch from the nice crust but still super soft inside. The flavor was amazing. I can’t say enough about how delicious it was.
So, I’m sorry Dunkin Donuts, my East Coast heart still loves you, but this is the new place to be. Oh! And a dozen donuts is only $ 7.95 — two dollars cheaper than DD and the donuts taste so much better. I just can’t say enough good things about this place.

So I was browsing the Dunkin’ Donuts reviews, and read all the comments on how dry the donuts were. One person said how you’re much better off going to Donuts Express. Once I saw all of the amazing breakfast sandwich photos, I got really excited and my bf & I decided to give this place a try!
The second we walked in, the girl at the counter was so friendly! She was so sweet and asked us everything we wanted on our breakfast sandwiches.
Once we got home and ate them, I was pretty impressed. I was definitely not disappointed that I had gone to Donuts Express that day. Five stars!!!

I am surprised that I will be the first to give recognition to the Donuts Express. Everyone in Whittier knows where Norm’s restaurant is located. This donut shop is in the Twin Palm plaza next door. Their donuts are the best! They give it that extra touch of quality and perfection. My wife knows I get donut fever sometimes and I need my fix. Oh. it’s hilarious to her! Delirious for me!
The couple that operate the shop are extremely nice and friendly. So, if you get in donut mode, get the absolute best in Whittier at Donut Express.
